It's kind of useless to cry and wallow in self pity, I just get on with life now. Actually made my life way better, looking on the bright side of life and always moving forward.

Probably has something to do with taller people being perceived as naturally stronger and more they're more naturally intimidating. So they're more likely to get their way during business negotiations. Maybe their bigger body gives them a slightly bigger head and therefore brain too?

Oh for sure feminist thought will always be a thing. But if the thoughts will not be fought for, nor are reinforced into society by the people who have those thoughts, then it doesn't matter what you say. The ideology kills itself as it seems to lend itself to self indulgence, hedonism or in the now thinking. Not long term propagation and self regulation. The universe is uncaring and doesn't owe anyone anything. You have to work for results and continue to work for them your entire life. Is what…

This whole thing is a battle of ideas and women refuse to fight for their ideas by having children and bringing them up ''better''. The majority of western women today live in the best living conditions in the known history of our species and they still want to rest on their laurels and claim victim hood instead of doing something with that privilege. If they claim that women were historically oppressed, then they insult all the women who have suffered and died over eons before them by doing not…

The situation solves itself in a way. All the hedonistic and materialistic women will die childless and their shitty genetics with them. The women who can be sensible and admit their strengths and weaknesses with humility will have families with good men. The only problem will be all the men who will be single because of this causing trouble.

The funniest take I saw from this ''4B'' announcement went something like this: ''So you're going stop being whores because Trump got elected? Pauses Thank God, finally, if that's what it takes.''

If we weren't in a society with controls on male sexuality, in a more natural setting, that would be correct. But as the social protective barriers are broken down by women in the name of reproductive and sexual freedom, you will get more men of a certain attraction level getting most of the sex and most men getting little to no sex. This is playing out on the dating apps right now and not a good thing. Women are organizing themselves in harems for men they find irresistibly attractive, giving t…

All the most competent men I know of are not that good looking, want to be dads and would be great husbands are very sexless. It's a hilarious irony that a lot of pretty men never have to work on themselves therefore making them a poor prospect for a partner. I'm in an LTR, getting married in Jan next year, I did not want casual sex, it's pointless.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/24 08:38 AM

Not the women I've been around? That being said I went to private school out in country Australia. Most of the women looked similiar to her in body and facial structure. All they had to do was not get fat, maybe a bit of exercise focused on the core and legs/butt. The male body standard is far harder to achieve than the female one. I have to workout EVERYTHING. Seriously, I'm lifting weights between comments right now and it's fucking hard, I'm never going to look jacked unless I win the lottery…

It's just an overall rating based on many factors. But none of it matters if she's an asshole. Maybe slightly better than average just because appears to take care of her weight. Not sure why this matters so much to you.

Reminds me of a comedy bit by an Aussie comedian called Steve Hughes. ''What do want in a relationship?'' Feminine man voice ''I want a woman, all soft and moisturized.'' ''What do you Gary?'' ''I WANNA FUCK A BLOKE! I want a big strong man to f*** me in the a**.'' Finishes the bit ''Straight, it's the new gay.''

She's average looking to me. She's not fat. At all. Make up and good camera angles elevate her to above average in her pictures only. There's a picture in there of her without makeup and a mirror selfie and she just looks average to me.

It defines your life from the time you are born, it colors in all my thoughts, feelings, perceptions, every single aspect of my thought process. It’s responsible for making me the person I am. Admitting that is not “victimizing” myself, it’s being comfortable with myself. Everyone is different, you just put a label on yours, just because it's a little more different than normal limits. But here you are conversing like anyone else. Why do you need the labels? I developed a stronger sense of self …

I really do have empathy for my fellow mental health sufferers. I've been there, I've cried myself to sleep countless nights. The majority of my tax is fed into my countries health system. I'm Australian and I'm glad for universal health care. But... Ask yourself the hard questions you probably haven't asked yourself and need to. These questions I don't think are considered by even ''normal'' people. These questions snapped me out of my old ways of thinking and forced me to overcome my problems.…

You said I would hope you could recognize that there is a large theoretical difference between your behavior and ability to regulate yourself and people who present more strongly. That seems to lump all autistic people into one big group as far as I can see. I'm trying to make the point that lumping us into one big group does us a disservice, because the public at large only sees people at their worst and assumes the worst across that group. I'm making the argument that you shouldn't let people …

how easy do you think it is to prove physical abuse? Today? Very easy. There's video evidence, physical evidence, hit marks on the victim, bruise marks on the hands of the offender. how often do you believe someone when they say their partner is physically abusing them? Believe them, collect evidence, make the verdict. Punishment comes after the crime. if it is a fraudulent marriage you can get an annullment Not if one party is deceitful, humans lie. its fair because both people contribute to th…

Okay well if you were diagnosed with Asperger's then surely I would hope you could recognize that there is a large theoretical difference between your behavior and ability to regulate yourself and people who present more strongly. They're a minority of autistic people in my experiences. Like, this post is talking about autism in general and you start by saying you are a high-functioning autist. Sounds like you've made autism a core part of your identity so you can feel like you're special when you're not. It also allows you to shirk responsibility when it suits you. You are a human being with a complex and varied neurodevelopmental disability I am not disabled, I'm just a little bit different in the ways I think, a genetic variation part of our evolution. I'd go so far to say autism allows me to see and connect things people may otherwise not think about. Some autistic people are quite…

Giving someone a job based on the colour of their skin is in of itself racist. Needing equity because of historical ''injustices'' and perceived barriers that can already be solved through current enforcement implies the person is lesser and cannot compete in a competitive arena. You seem to think that it means giving someone who isn't qualified and capable a job that they are unable to do No, it gives underqualified people positions based not upon …

If they do not know about it, it won't influence their judgement. It's not outwardly obvious like height is. No one ever has figured it out by just looking at me, yet. I socialize like a ''normal'' person, I blend in seamlessly.

I cannot believe that equity is even in the discussion these days. Took me 5 minutes of reading the definition of it to understand why it's a shit idea. What are most people motivated by? Monetary gains and status/social increases. What does this do? Rewards people for being productive and innovative as well as good people. What does equity do when taken to its conclusion? Pay everyone out (in money or status) exactly equally no matter how much work they do or how good/nice they are as a person.…

Um wouldn't physical abuse be a legitimate reason to divorce in an at fault state? I'm of the understanding that ''at fault'' divorce means you can divorce a person if they're physically abusing you. So what's the problem here? No fault divorce requires no proof of wrong doing by either party and that opens up both men and women to fraudulent marriages that the other party can do nothing to counter. If they make more money or own more assets. They have to pay their spouse out no matter what, the…

The dating economy is just that, an economy. The passport bros is a one part of a market correction. Men don't feel wanted or needed in their home country. So they go to where they feel they are wanted or needed. I keep seeing the videos of western women framing these men as exploitative predators. Exploiting poorer and ''dumber'' women. Depends on what you call nice. I didn't match with many, but with the few I did, only 1 responded promptly and didn't even match up with me in any way in which I wanted. 1 took a month to respond. Makes it quite clear I'm not first on the list. Another got real snarky when I rejected her for being a smoker. Why bother stringing me along like that? Stop wasting my time. Yeah looking good is easy you just have to: Maintain a strict structured exercise routine. Balance a good diet and track calories in and out. Be born with the right bone and muscle types. If you want to make claims of historical oppression you'd need to figure how to define opression exactly. Some people might not agree on what was and was not opression. Most of the arguments and counterarguments have been already made in this thread. But for example: The majority of women were opressed by their biology, 9 months of pregnancy, death in childbirth etc. Majority of men were opressed by their responsibilities. Ok, but are you willing to acknowledge that emotional men on the whole are extremely unattractive to most women? The fact that emotional men are uncommon means that emotional men are probably being filtered out through natural selection. Men are raised to emotionless, because that's what's expected and gets results. The change in this ironically starts with women overcoming their natural mate choices.

"People are shallow (me included) and they behave in a way that maximizes their odds to f*ck/end up with attractive people". The issue does solve itself over time. It's just a matter of society surviving the lack of children to work the infrastructure. We aren't immune from Darwinism yet.

I agree, but I think there's also a lack of the study of history and our quality of life throughout said history. We have it so good now, I find it hard to be unhappy now. I'm so grateful for what I have and want to preserve it now. Sure it's not perfect, but by God is it better than what life used to be.

humans who are unhappy are not healthy. those things are mutually exclusive in the long term. You're projecting your own unhappiness onto society at large. I find most unhappy people lack perspective and self control. again, many white settlers ran off to join the (less "comfortable") native tribes while the reverse almost never happened. Yes yes, I've heard of the hypothesis surrounding what happened to the people of colonies like Roanoke. Isolated incidents, that don't really prove anything. T…

have you considered just not caring that people complain? I care about society continuing on far into the future, I care about my children that are yet to be born. No. The main message. Is you as a man need to do better and realize that a woman is not going to accept your flaws and personality. You have to shine. Does your message apply to women as well? If not, why do men have to do better and not both men and women? If yes, what does that mean exactly? Stop shaming them into having to accept or choose people they don’t want to. I know she's not a virgin but I'm my GF's second partner and she's my second too and I'm loving it. She's easy to get to orgasm and loves to make love. She's not that great at certain things and neither am I, but it's fun exploring each other and getting better at it. I'm now firmly of the belief that casual dating is the worst thing to happen to western society cohesion since it became a thing.

I'm not sure what men you're hanging around, but you need to get away from them if they reguarly make rape jokes. Like I can laugh at the occasional one if it's clever enough (massive if), but if it's all the time I'll tend to distance myself from that person. Men get pissed at suicide jokes because no one does shit about fixing it, while women get all the help in the world when they get assaulted.

I was watching a few videos on this very topic today. I can't remember most of it as I was driving at the time, but the long and short of it is that the overall economic environment right now is worse than the great depression. When it does come crashing down, it's going to be REALLY bad, like history making bad across the western nations. Too much debt, not enough income, not enough wealthy people paying tax, properties are too expensive, inflation is wreaking havoc on people, the list goes on.

Personally I don't really have a type. As I've said in one of these before, I'm not that concerned with how a woman looks as long as she's relitively healthy. The overexposure to attractive women through my entire life has desensitized me to a womans looks factoring into my calculations. I'm more attracted to a good personality.

Man that guy has to have a really shit personality or no personality at all if he's actively pursuing women and can't land anything. Him putting himself down in the title suggests he has some sort of self loathing which may come out in the way he carries himself and speaks. He's a good looking guy, he should be able to get a girl. Far better looking than I am and I got laid no problem.

The current woman I'm dating and I slept on our first date. We had been talking over text for a week and a half and were really into each other. Conversation flowed and there was plenty to talk about. We both agreed it was probably too quick, but she told me she hadn't had sex in a long time after a shitty relationship and really needed it. It's really circumstance based. My previous relationship we slept on the second weekend we spent with each other.

You are judging people based upon your own experience alone. I can look at a car accident and know that someone, at some time fucked up and did something wrong. I can also experience a car accident and learn what NOT to do based on my experience. The same applies to overweight people, it's just more obvious what the person is doing wrong. Eating more calories than their body needs, it's just that simple. The amount of people with actual acute issues preventing weight loss is tiny compared to the…

Yeah the vast majority of overweight/obese people are that way because of their choices. I was fat for 5 years, lost most of my weight in about 4 months. But despite all my hardships and times I wanted to give up and die, I still found my way through the despair and emerged stronger and happier than ever. I probably should've expanded on that in my initial post. But I'll leave it as is. There are limits to both ends of the scale. If you're a good person to be around, it can be negated with other negative traits like smoking, drinking, obesity and lack of self control. Sorry, that's not correct from my point of view. Any man who's been raised correctly knows how to treat women with respect and find said women's boundaries through clear communication. Any man who cannot communicate clearly from the outset has bad intentions or hasn't been socialized and raised correctly (or both). If you prefer poor communication in your partner, you're f***ed in the head and are a part of the problem with modern dating.

How much protein are you eating every day? Even on rest days you need to get about 160g of protein up in ya. Also need to be eating above maintenance calories to put muscle on. I wasn't able to increase my weight until I started eating more. You will put fat on, but then you need to go on a cut. Then eat more again, then cut. It takes many years to get good muscles, which is why so many people cheat with testosterone, steroids and shit.

When you start a relationship, it should be without expectations of ANYTHING. If you're compatible, then figure out what you want from the relationship. Once you've figured out what you both want, take stock of resources available and if they can service your requirements. Then start working together. My Dad only had a mustache until he decided to trim it one day (no idea why), but he looked fine with just a mustache and no beard (although he could grow a beard too).

Maybe try running with just the mustache? If that's all the beard your face is putting out, maybe do away with it.

I'm not religious and on the fence about God. So is my partner and I enjoy making love with her and bonding with her with cuddles while we watch a movie or even just cuddling for cuddles sake. Sex is the cherry on top, not the centerpiece of the relationship which is why in my opinion incels struggle to get laid. They put FAR too much value on sex to the point it's all they want a relationship for and woman can sense that to some degree.

Yeah those aren't 100% effective. The amount of fluids me and my GF exchange is quite significant during coitus, even with the condom on. I also think you underestimate your propensity to mate guard, you will get jealous, maybe not with the woman you're seeing now, but a woman you are attracted to in the future.

And the more men that are fit, healthy and overall more attractive, it raises the standards of women even higher. There's no upper limit to hypergamy and it could doom our species. Literally watched a video about this today from Thinking Ape.

Your error is assuming that anyone can know what is controllable or not. You can't really know what is or is not controllable until it is too late to do anything about it, so you can't condition things on controllable vs. not controllable. Consult other men and even women if you can on what's attractive within your age range preference Experiment with things like clothes, deodorant, hair styles etc. That's controllable variables. It isn't valid to say "you're single now, so that must mean there'…

Some people could change me being single: the woman who I would want to be in a relationship with if only they would also want me. It is their choice. They choose "no." That doesn't justify abandoning me to being single no more than it justified abandoning someone to being raped every day. You just don't get it. I AGREE WITH YOU, IT'S NOT JUSTIFIED. It all fucking sucks. All of your suffering, your loneliness and the suffering and loneliness of others. No one should bear these things. But you do…

Look all it boils down to is that life is shit and there's winners and losers. Most people have some say in which pool they land in, but there's always outliers who will die alone, unloved or who are by accident of birth given a shitty hand. There's nothing we can currently do about most of these things as the science/societies to correct them do not exist yet. All we can is work towards bettering ourselves and those around us if we can. Pass lessons learned onto our children (if you have them).
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/24 12:37 PM

No it doesn't justify it, but it happened anyway. Right now, as we speak, unspeakable atrocities are happening across the world and there's not a god damn thing we can do to fix it. Are you comparing a sex slave to someone who cannot form/find a relationship? The only commonality they share is that there are circumstances outside their control. Okay, then what do you have to say to the people who tell single people "you have to be happy being single"? I really have nothing to say to those people. I was just saying, you can be happy when you're single, but then you start a relationship and further increase your happiness. You can also want a relationship, not get it and still be happy. You didn't get what you want, but sometimes things don't always pan out the way you want. If you place all your emotional eggs in one metaphorical basket (in this case a relationship) you're setting yourself up for failure. Hard agree, in a relationship right now. Sex is not as amazing as it's made out to be. Sure once you've done it, it feels like an ''Achievement unlocked'' moment, but it's not the be, end all. When it comes to sex, it's to seal a bond type of thing, not the cornerstone of the relationship, that comes from somewhere else. A relationship based purely on sex cannot last. I don't think it's that bad, but it will be a turbulent time for the next few decades as the generations that are the end result of unrestrained access to the toxic nightmare that is social media really starts to hit its stride. Because it can come across as insulting. Men are taught from a young age that they need to be strong, not just for themselves, but for their future family. Ironically, if you don't teach them this behaviour as a means to try and change the societal norms, the men grow up directionless and weak. Men need to provide and protect, it's what we're evolved to do. That's why men help men in the same way women do. Maybe? It's hard to say. I think that's part of it. I think it's worse if you live in large cities. Commuting to work through dense traffic or overcrowded public transport can take a long time. Online dating is actually a really good tool. It's just people aren't willing to take it slow and invest in their matches. They want everything NOW NOW NOW and cannot wait and put the effort in to form a bond. This reflects in the people who complain about not having a big house and the cost of living. They aren't willing to give up anything to save money and expect the end game goals at the start. Yes the boomers had it easier, but that was then, this is now, get over it, things change, adapt. …

Self sufficient was maybe a bad word for it. Self reliant is maybe better? You don't want rely on anyone else as you are unable to open yourself up to being let down again. It's basically a really poor coping mechanism for negative emotions that people are very afraid of these days.

I think it's less about clinging onto loneliness and more about getting stuck in it. You become so self sufficient (as a survival mechanism) because you might've been let down in the past or completely ignored by those around you it leads you to hyper focus on yourself and to structure your life to minimize discomfort and avoid the issues that got you to this position in the first place.
