1	My marriage counselor As a woman, get a new marriage counselor or get out of the marriage. If you're not comfortable with "any" violence (and I agree violence should not be tolerated) and your counselor is taking sides, you have the right to see someone who you are comfortable with. -2	Mindblown Depends on the state, but generally, yes. If you relinquish all parental rights you cannot be help liable for child support. This does not mean that a court will allow you to relinquish your rights, in most cases it's that the mother is fighting the decision. Which in that case you would need to deal with the mother as well as a family court to decide. Still sucks but than again so does being pregnant with a child you don't want for 10 months.	/r/MensRights	22/10/12 12:34 PM
-4	Mindblown No one is forcing men to stay in a child's life. If they don't want the child and don't want to pay child support than they need to relinquish parental rights. However most men (I know) don't want to do that because they want some involvement in the kids life. You can't have it both ways.	/r/MensRights	22/10/12 08:33 AM
