Comparing unintended conception to an unintended car accident is not a good metaphor. Because...? All those endorphines dispensed as a result of orgasm are your body's way of thanking you and rewarding you for attempting to pass along your genes. I addressed this in my previous post. The fact that you have other plans is of no consequence to the reward centres of your brain. Irrelevant, the reward centers of my brain aren't deciding anything. You are not rewarded for a car accident. Right, you a…

Reproduction is the most important biological function of sex. FTFY. That's true, and irrelevant to the point at hand. See, there is more for-fun-sex than there is for-kids-sex. You can separate them because the amourphous mass of neurouns in our head lets us ignore biological urges to a certain point. The problem at hand is that this types of sex sometimes overlap due to failing contraceptives and end up making people both miserable and in a relationship where one half has the upper hand. If yo…

Impractical, holier-than-thou advice. Akin to saying, "never get into a car if you don't want to get into a car accident", true, but useless if you commute.

The deal is the ad is not an accident or an innuendo. It is blatantly suggestive. That's the point. Do you know anything about marketing? Why not have a man in bright red lipstick in the ad instead of a woman? You want a serious answer to that? The demographic they're trying to reach would consider it 'gay'. It would impact negatively in sales. A majority of ads in the U.S. are unethical ... You could argue that they're illegal but to outright say they're unethical is outright dumb. Can you supp…

I don't care about what "should" be. The money is his. If she cannot prove that through support he helped him make 100 Million, then she is not entitled to them. The people who pay him are the ones who decide that he should get what he gets, not other people.

Not in this case. Mentally ill is fitting here. He had selective mutism, was accused of stalking which of course worsened his already bad condition, etc. He was mentally ill.

Stalker... Declared mentally ill... Anxiety disorders aren't a reason to deny someone university but maybe a history of violent (or likely to be) behaviour could be.

Or not. As he said, a lot of people do get belittled or ignored (not that I condone) and they don't go on a murder spree.

No people were ever benevolent and kind. America wasn't the Garden of Eden 200 years ago and will never be. People are equally greedy, fearful and (arguably) consumerists than they were 200 or 2000 years ago.

But why not just + then? Or † if one is so willing. /off-topic I know it means christian but I still read xtian as xtian not as christian.

Why would you pronounce xtian as kris-chuhn?

... That's really a narrow mindset there, mate. Everyone on 4chan is a pedophile too, right?

If done incorrectly, that may have some unwanted consequences such as jail time and/or death penalty.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
