Imagine thinking that being disciplined is merely a means to acquire gratification. The thing about RP thinking is that it isn’t divested from simply not being selfish yet so many of you traipse down that path with glitter in your eyes. Grow up, you traded GI Joes for plate counts.

Happiness is such a vague and fleeting dimension though. Something dutiful to yourself such as ensuring security in old age is not about happiness but about practicality which will lead to contentedness. At the very least it leads to an assurance that the future, while chaotic, is provided for. There’s nothing wrong in doing what you want based on your skill-set, but leave your enjoyment and “happiness” to a hobby. This leaves you space to change hobbies based on the “saturation of enjoyment” yo…

You're weak. I sure am. That's why I'm on this sub.

Okay buddy. At the end of the day tho I'm not wasting my time on someone who's subject matter revolves around Snapchat stories and makeup tutorials. It's not always confidence, sometimes they're just girls.

Over 5 days, 5 weeks, 5 months?? The fuck is 100+ supposed to imply without a modifier.

The issue may not be nerves, you could be the Suave King and have buckets of conversation topics but some 18-21 y.o.'s seem to have literal zero processes of thought going on. I just tend to move on to more mentally agile pastures.

You're looking at the Red Pill through Rose Colored glasses. That value you're talking about which you're seeking to improve? Your SMV? You wouldn't be looking to improve it without the end goal being benefit to Game. There is a certain nihilistic gratification in getting over that hump and recognizing that your Biological Imperative is the driving force behind even visiting this sub and it has nothing to do with "being better" You make yourself better to define your context of Game. To simply m…

I get that, but I've seen many of "the old guard" say similar sentiments and I tend to agree with their perspective.

This is not a self improvement sub. This is a sub about male-female sexual theory and how to engage in such a way to have intercourse. If the path necessary to have that outcome includes performing activities to improve yourself then you do it. But this isn't a self improvement sub.

It doesn't invalidate the time spent preparing though. Maybe the act of courage itself is a skill meant to be developed. You don't use a specific Courage For Women, Courage For Wealth, or Courage For Public Speaking. It's from the same wellspring. When you exercise in one arena it raises the others. What's a knockout for RP anyway? Sexual fulfillment. What leads to that? Courageous interactions.

1. If you haven't done X (whether it's sex or whatever else), I seriously doubt you can have a good understanding of the desirability of it, one's ability to restrain themselves about it, etc. You just don't know because you don't have the experience. I follow your line of thought but simply because it's harder due to exposure doesn't mean it can't be done (in the case of abstaining after one has been frequently sexually active) As to understanding the desirability of it? It's built into us as p…

Because if sex is important to you and a cornerstone of the relationship ... marriage is a very fucking expensive way of finding out your partner lacks that same compatibility. I get where you're coming from, but great sex isn't the cornerstone of our existence. That being said, it's my opinion that actual sexual compatibility between a married couple comes neither from ecstasy (how good the sex is) nor frequency (how often you have it) but mainly from intimacy, which occurs as love, trust, secu…

An ad hominem attack i think. Maybe. I was being overly aggressive for the personal satisfaction, but it just shits threads up.

You obviously haven't "applied TRP principles perfectly" since you've forgotten that those principles go beyond sexual strategy into the identity of a man. Offense 1: Caught feelings and nursed them Offense 2: Broke Law that states distance creates respect, etc. through repeated initiation through any other medium besides VOICE Offense 3: Stalked her fucking facebook You want to apply the principles perfectly? I'd advise ditching the girl completely and gaming 5 other women in the next week.

Because discipline. Also, not everyone has the atrophied attention span that you betray yourself having.

You're not great, that's why you're trying to modify it. You never achieve great (IMO), you aspire to be. It's not a wasted fucking evening if you do what you fucking want. I.e., I only take dates out to a spot I like because their cornbread is fucking delicious. I never regret taking them out because I get that damn cornbread. every. fucking. time. Stop paying for their meals if you don't want to pay for their meals. Pay for their meals if you want to pay for their meals. It's really simple to …

The only real way to cultivate them are through situations that cause one to ... lead. If you have any opportunities to lead a project, study, or small group after work you could do that. You can start a volunteer group to help veterans (spitballing here). You can join Amway and teach people how to be in a financial cult. Fuck, you can DO a lot of things, but that's just it you have to find the DOING opportunities. Next best thing is reading books on leadership like John Maxwell. But first he wo…

As has been said, either a) change your people or b) change your people. You can obviously find others that have a similar mindset, but I would also advise making your thoughts on what you're learning known to your current friends. Don't try to inoculate or evangelize to them (dear fucking God don't), just bring things up in conversation. At first they'll reject it, call you names, etc. because most people are emotionally immature bozo's but they still hear you. Someday you'll find that at least…

I wouldn't call Rollo Tomassi a loser: http://therationalmale.com/2012/07/18/the-wall/ The Wall is real, but not as a justification for your ennui and future "conquest."

From your viewpoint, we're all socially broken in the sense that we ultimately are self serving. Women express this self serving nature in the many ways covert ways we discuss on this subreddit. Men express this self serving nature through dominance and controlling in more overt ways (often displayed via the rules taught in this forum actually). Control of others for the preservation of self is the issue we all face. The question is how do we all, man or woman, break free of this cycle in such a…

The group of people I work with make a point of not smiling until you've earned it - we're an entrepreneurial consulting group so we often have men or women come through that have never been taken serious nor taken an endeavor, like their own start-up, serious. The principle behind the teaching is to convey weight to the situation (The desire to move forward in a business startup) as well as yourself and have the person "earn" the ability to see you joke around or smile. Makes sense.
