Although the "ridged band" is gone, it's really not the end of the world. If you feel that way, it will benefit from a psychologist, because I agree with the earth-shattering discovery that it is. The author knows that routine male circumcision is one of the most cruel, bizarre and widespread violations of human rights in US history. She wants everyone to recover because her argument is this: By abnormalizing the sexual act, the resulting sexual frustration emphasis in ALL areas of the relationship.
