I’ve posted this Q a while back but failed to get the answer I was looking for so I figured I’d try again: I remember reading about a group of men in ancient times who swore off women and spent all their time on self-improvement and making themselves more beautiful. But I can't for the life of me remember where I read it or where these men existed. I think I read it here on TRP and that it was from an ancient Greek epic or something like that. But I'm not sure. Please help me remember. Thanks!

I am not a communist. I see capitalism as a catalyst for progress. I live in Sweden and I think our model is quite good. Big gov't doesn't bother me. I would quite like the Swedish gov't to expand their sphere of influence and maybe monopolize some (more) areas.

I even believe the gov't ought to monopolize certain areas. Private banks, private insurance companies and private schools (1st through 12th grade) should not be allowed. That being said, I am not against capitalism. I just think certain areas should be off limits.

She's simply telling people that there are alternatives to monogamy. She's in no way even insinuating that only the female should have multiple sex partners. You're (probably intentionally) misunderstanding the point she's trying to make. The point she's trying to make is that you don't NEED to be sexually exclusive in a relationship as long as the two of you, together, set clear boundaries and stick to them.
