I hadn't though of podcasts. I found this list which has some intereseting looking options. Re-reading your message I'm unclear if you mean you started consuming a podcast or started your own podcast...perhaps the latter? Oh man, I feel for ya big time. I'm on the other side of that situation in that I made the decision and told her. I doubt it was a surprise because we hadn't been happy in years...just going through the motions doing what we're supposed to do. However, like you, she was my life and I have no current support system....just trying to reconnect with old friends and revive those relationships (which are all remote because we've moved pretty far from where we started). I'm definitely feeling the flip/flop of whether this was the right decision, but I know that it was and it's just a matter of the emotions doing their thing to catch up. It's such a trip to live through another breakup after so long feeling & believing I'd never have to experience all this ever again.

I feel ya on most of these points and am just starting the journey myself. The thing I realized is that when I travel for business I'm a different, happy person. When I get home I just feel my happiness die. It's not even going home to the routine either. I asked my wife to join me on trips for the weekend and that too was a killer.
