Law firms literally don’t, especially when she first got out of law school which probably happened before you were born. She did, very very often. You don’t really get to choose your cases when you work for the state especially if you’re already being screwed out of more important ones. It’s not hurting men, the doctors aren’t losing money, it’s just helping female doctors, women in the medical field have been criminally under represented and fields like gynecology are incredibly underdeveloped for how important they are and that’s largely an effectvol how male dominated medicine is.
