Just got back from that post and most upvoted comments are from people who find nothing wrong (didn’t even open the -7 ones we know already)

Right! I truly think it’s a favor to both us and them that we toughen up and be a little less accepting. It’s like we give them a little of our empathy and at one point we can meet in the middle. That’s my hopes at least haha.

They are very misunderstood creatures lmao. I think they don’t realize how bad their own behavior make them feel. They could be picky as well, matter of fact I know dudes who have a lot to offer and don’t act creepy guess what? That’s right they have awesome relationships.

I can’t comprehend the thought process behind sending it to one of the girls. What is that a power move? It’s gross.

You never know where your pictures will end up. It’s a different topic but we see enough things online to know better so I don’t understand how people can post their children, especially on public profiles.

You know how we say “don’t give him wifey things until you’re the wife”. I guess she was expecting the reverse to be true as well. Except it looks like for women marriage means they’ll give it all and to a lot of men it means they don’t have to give it anything anymore.

That’s crazy he was saying out loud to people he liked the movie then just changed his mind lmao... way to build his credibility.

Thats exactly it! The only reason bird of prey movie is considered « feminist » is because she isn’t dressed as sexy apparently wth. I literally have not heard any women make any statement about that movie but men saying how it was ruined by feminists or that they don’t judge it for being feminist so why are feminists complaining (???). Maybe there are women out there claiming it as a feminist one but it must be a few because I haven’t seen any.

As a rule if someone is getting angry when you stay quiet or display your usual hurt attitude that means they knew from the beginning what they were doing wasn’t nice. You will find someone much better than him that was emotional abuse OP.

You are 100% right. Always always make sure you have interests and friends. I’m new and newly single in the city and my sister is pushing me a little to use dating sites. I’m not trying to find a boyfriend until after I found friends and settle a good life for myself in the new environment.

Last time I commented about me not going to cook every day even for a HVM and I kid you not I got a private message saying that’s because I probably can’t cook lmao. Imagine being this stressed about a sub.

This is so SO true. You can’t ever talk about issues with them because they will always divert it back to them. Like okay I agree it sucks when it happens to you too can we carry the convo about women? No they’re usually satisfied after saying it happens to men and that’s all you can get.

Personally I wouldn’t care but you got to do what is good for you. It doesn’t really matter what we think as long as you’re confident you made the right decision for yourself.

“There are more women than men on earth that’s why we cheat and women fight each other for us” I’ve heard that multiple times and plot twist, there are more men than women on earth.

That’s right and I understand where it’s coming from. Sometimes I feel like that “hold on until mariage” ideology can be very patriarchal itself. It’s just not to be taken to the first degree like you’re saying and another comment explained as well.

That’s sad if what I can do for him is what he will marry me for imo. Adding to this that I’m not going to revert to pickmeisha just because I got a ring on.

Girl I won’t be cooking for my man everyday even after marriage lmao.

Ah yes but if I see that happening I’m gone!! EDIT: Im just wondering how this work exactly because if I’m with a HVM he will react well to all this before and after mariage, right? But if I withhold I might be with a LVM that will only reveal himself after marriage?

What is wife shit exactly? For me the plan is to be exactly the same before mariage and after. There are stuffs I do and some I don’t and I need to be sure he accepts that fully and see his exact actions with who I am. I wanna know what I get from him as well the same way. Am I doing something wrong?

Where I’m from when you kiss someone more than once you’re in a relationship and that’s it. There is no dating phase.

Men/women friendships definitely exists. But yes it’s definitely possible that your guy friend hits on you at some point. People get lonely, and sometimes they go for comfort for the closest person in their life. To me it doesn’t mean anything. It doesn’t mean they were thinking about it or they had a long lasting crush on you. The future of the friendship depends on their reaction when you tell them off. Are they respectful? Do they realize their mistake? Etc. I agree that it can make things aw…

A lot of guys constantly posting their gf on social media have a lot to hide but some don’t and are genuine. It’s not necessarily a good sign in itself imo.

Also who mention being abused so early? To me that’s a convo you have with people you trust, so if one opens up about abuse very early on it’s a red flag.
