My wife would also sneak around and make MASSIVE life changing decisions (as well as smaller, but still financial decisions) without consulting me. Often these decisions would impact me significantly. Every time she did it, we'd argue. I'd beg her to come talk to me BEFORE making decisions. I'd try and make her see that whenever she did this, it was lying and being deceitful, and that wasn't reasonable to expect me to be okay with. She'd argue that if she had come to me, I'd say no, so she was j…

When I told my wife she was being emotionally abusive to me, trying to make her realise how much it hurt when she did this, she only focussed on how horrible it was to be accused of this. Not on making an effort not to do it anymore. This just gave her another excuse to leave me, as for her it was more preferable to throw away an 18 year relationship with someone who would have done anything for her, than for her to admit she had any fault and actively try to better herself. :(

After 18 years together, she turned around to me yesterday and declared she didn't love me anymore. I suspect she is bipolar, as there's been a continuous pattern of wild mood swings over the course of this 18 years. Yet, she refused to get diagnosed, or even consider she had such a mental health issue. Her weapon of choice was the silent treatment. She'd often close off all love and affection for days on end. I felt like I was losing my mind whenever she did this. I'd point out how unreasonable…

I communicated every single day. She was the one who constantly refused to communicate. I'd get completely shut out for days sometimes. Zero love and affection. One time this was because she'd been watching the Oscars and was salty that she wasn't there receiving one. THAT was the reason for shutting me out. :( - She is obsessed with being a rich celeb (to the point where nearly all she ever talks about is mansions and having staff), :( I bent over backwards to change my behaviour for everything…

18 years together and the other day she turns around to me and tells me she doesn't love me out of nowhere. 24 hours prior, she had told me how much she loved me. I was expecting a nice day together (as we'd put it aside to spend time together, as we both had a day off from work), then I get hit out of nowhere with that.... I have long suspected she may be bipolar. There's been non-stop mood swings over the entire time we've been together. She'll be so loving one minute, then ice cold the next. …
