The law actually is fair. It allows anyone to opt out of carrying a child inside their own body. It's biology's fault that only women can carry a child in their body, and it's biology's fault that men's contribution to creating a life ends at orgasm. Here's a quick thought experiment. If men and women each had a 50% chance of becoming pregnant, would there be any legal inequality? If a man became pregnant, would it be unequal in the opposite direction? That should be a pretty big clue to you tha…

You're not responsible for their choice. You're responsible for your choice to cum inside someone else. Sometimes that leads to a child, sometimes it doesn't, but it's always your choice.

Its more the fact men are veholden to the womens choice , and 50 % responsible. Because of biology. If men carried the child then they'd have the same option. There's nothing there that wouldn't be changed if biology were different. Imagine having another person get to make choices that you are responsible for. Imagine having to carry a child for nine months if you want to have a kid while guys just have to have sex once. Not fair, right? Imagine having to go through an abortion if you don't wan…

Women can get an abortion because they're the ones who have to carry the child. That's just biology. If you're going to try to "fix" one inequality caused by biology then you can't stop there, you have to fix all of them. Are you willing to do that?

Or none of these people exist because she said it specifically for the publicity you guys are now giving her. Do you really think every single performer who says they committed a crime actually committed that crime? There are a few examples of people really admitting to crimes in person or in their music like Snoop Dog, but most of that shit is a publicity stunt. She knew a bunch of morons would her more free publicity than all of the male rappers and comedians who do this combined. Either way i…

lol, I was going to disagree and say that's not what I experienced in college, but then I realized what sub I'm in. Carry on.

In the eyes of the law. That doesn't mean someone literally didn't do it. I'm not even talking about Kobe here because I have zero knowledge about the case. I'm just sick of people saying "innocent until proven guilty" as though it's a fact or logical razor instead of just a legal principle. OJ Simpson, for example, is a murderer, as is Casey Anthony. R Kelly is guilty of statutory rape, probably way more than just one count. In the law, no. But in real life? They all did it.

IMO the problem is you can't really tell when there's equality of opportunity. If someone doesn't get a chance to direct or act in a movie out of some kind of prejudice, you'll never know. Even if there's a video of the conversation it's unlikely someone will say "I'm not hiring you because of xyz". For example, if 100% of Oscar nominees next year were black directors, how could you prove that this wasn't a completely natural occurrence? The more I think about it the harder it seems.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
