yes, if possible. It's just amputation, and as necessary in some medical circumstances as an amputation of - say - an arm or fingers, but in all other circumstances it is simple mutilation.

Why are you a believer in "the law" when it advocates for genital mutilation?

Logic is sound but still comes off pretty strawman-y

Ah yeah understandable, non traction treatable phimosis, circumcision is pretty much necessary. But to be done to every single infant.....

I honestly have no clue how there are people stupid enough to think MGM is OK. Whenever there is any kind of debate, the usual "well i am circumcised and dont care so it must be fine" or accusations of antisemitism gets thrown around, like in that thread in /r/gaming yesterday. The cognitive dissonance was astounding.

Yeah, that sucks but it's his body his choice so whatever. I take issue mostly with infant circumcision as they have no way to consent, but he had the procedure done to himself so whatever.

I think we need to educate our kindergartners about slavery, so I made them all blackface cookies and now they have to sit in chains while they eat them. This is like top /r/cringeanarchy material right here

I keep repeating it as people assume this competition had one male and beat 99 women. probably actually what happened. While nowhere in the article does it actually state how many males entered, it can't nearly take up the better half, as you say.

This was a co-ed competition. yes. correct. so why have you gotten so mad that a male won the competition if it is open to both genders? Males dominate tech why do you keep saying this? males don't "dominate" tech, they are just better represented than females, which actually has no effect on any woman trying to get into the tech industry. there is no tax for not having a wong hanging between your legs. males most likely took up the portion of the competition Considering the website for the comp…

ok, and what does "males DOMINATE tech" have to do with the results of this competition. And yes, any tech college is male-dominated, much in the same way that any teaching or language college is female-dominated. Plus, absolutely NOTHING, yes nothing, not even the patriarchy is stopping any female from going to tech college, it's just that there are more men that apply.

Well, working for Apple as a women, would be a great learning experience even after a degree and I'd expect to learn a lot, but since the odds are against me, I'll end up working a local company and the learning experience will be a lot lower. Actually no, this is where a lot of people get it wrong. Why are 72% of apple's leaders male and 63% white? the answer is simple- statistically more males apply and get the job. Apple is not discriminating in any way- if a black girl is more qualified than…

That's not really the point here... It's supposed to be (ironic?) because the event was literally female-dominated and female-targeted yet the male still won. Just because the topic was largely male-dominated has no effect.

SJW's still complain that breast augmentation and other cosmetic surgeries are oppressive to women and still seem to gloss over the fact that mutilating an infant's genitals without his consent might not actually be a good thing.

Honestly, every time I see an anti-circumcision post it makes me kinda sad because I can't help but think about what i'm "missing out" on. I harshly resent my parents for circumcising me before I was old enough to do anything about it or have any say in it. This is why I will do all I can to help people realize that cutting off your son's genitals "circumcision" is not a morally acceptable thing to do.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
