1	What bs is this Yes they are and no, I am not listening to those people. Not everything you hear about men/women, genders, biology, etc that you don't like is part of the feminist narrative. Men far more often report aggressive behavior when suffering from depression than women do. (This is true outside of mental illness as well, but the OP is obviously in context of mental illness.) Men kill themselves far more which, while far from conclusive, it is mildly indicative. Society is generally speaking harsher on men with mental illness than women. 3	What bs is this Brain chemistry and hormones basically. The average woman experiences more negative emotion than the average man. "They score higher in neuroticism" is the more technical term. Since negative emotion is pretty much the pre-requisite for depression and anxiety, girls/women are more likely to find themselves with either.
