Has being on this subreddit improved your dating/romance life?Part of was dating women who weren't the greatest people. I didn't know it at the time, but I found out the hard way. After my last girlfriend, I lost interest in romance. Being on the spectrum didn't help. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/05/25 06:19 PM
Has being on this subreddit improved your dating/romance life?To be honest, this sub kind of pushed me into MGTOW territory. I've had some success with dating, but after lurking here for a while, some of the posts here helped me figure out what went wrong with my dating life. I don't hate women, but this sub has really made it hard for me to be attracted to them in terms of personality. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 12/05/25 02:18 PM
Impact of aspergers/high functioning autism on malesI guess I lucked out with my experiences. I think it also depends on how autism affects her as well. As with any advice your mileage may vary. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/06/23 01:23 PM
Impact of aspergers/high functioning autism on malesAs someone who is a high functioning autistic I'll throw a few suggestions out there. 1.Focus on your looks. When I was younger I kept getting hit on by women but sadly I didn't really notice. If you're attractive enough your awkwardness can be overlooked if it's not too bad Accept that you will have a hard time when it comes to dating. People like us creep people out by simply existing and not fitting in, you'll have a harder time but it's not completely impossible Try to date other people who … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 11/06/23 06:32 AM
In complete honesty…what exactly do most of you on here want?True. Although, I've had more horror stories and I'd like to have some successes soon. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/04/23 02:02 AM
In complete honesty…what exactly do most of you on here want?I learned about the red pill back in 2014 and took some lessons away from it in terms of what to avoid but I don't really use the tactics they preach due to the fact that some seem very toxic. I mean I don't take shit from people and I have a very low tolerance for bullshit, but I don't go out of my way to act like a stereotypical "alpha bro". The only red pill content I really pay attention to at this point is the MGTOW stuff because at least I know that's an option, If that makes any sense | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/04/23 01:45 AM
In complete honesty…what exactly do most of you on here want?I agree that it sucks, and it usually comes with ADHD and OCD (I was full blown OCD when I was younger). I know that not all women are going around fucking every man that gives them attention. My issue is I usually end up dating women that aren't really good for me. My first gf was also autistic and threatened suicide every so often, the second one only dated me because I used to cosplay a character she liked, the third one tried to trick me into knocking her up and got arrested for fraud, and t… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/04/23 01:00 AM
In complete honesty…what exactly do most of you on here want? That's a good possibility. However, I have issues with people in general thanks to being autistic. I'm trying to figure out what the best course of action is at this point. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/04/23 12:26 AM
In complete honesty…what exactly do most of you on here want?I originally wanted a life partner but have had plenty of bad relationships that make it hard to believe that's possible. I mostly just lurk here to either see if it's still possible to even have a good relationship, or to find something that makes me realize it's impossible and finally give up | /r/PurplePillDebate | 15/04/23 10:20 AM
