Please stop placing your assumptions as my truth and beliefs. Because no, that’s not what i believe. Not one sane woman believes it’s all men, it’s that there are so many that we do not know which ones. That’s easy to say when you’re not twice as large or stronger than the person that group is afraid of. If you do not get justice, it creates a much deeper pain and suffering and you’re not as likely to fully recover or it takes longer. It’s multifaceted and it’s real, and it is hard, and it is a retraumatization all in itself. I just really think it’s strange to hear someone say you don’t understand why victims would want their predator to be jailed or brought to justice. I grew up dirt poor in a family of 5 kids in a 2 bedroom apartment. Not sure if we’d eat poor. I am white so i have privledge in that sense. But I was a highschool drop out and heavily traumatized and abused. I just did something with myself after i faced my demons.
