Gents, do you think MGTOW, and in a broader sense , the manosphere is a kind of fad for old men to live their fantasies ? What are your predictions, if any, for the state of the MGTOW2 subreddit by the end of the year 2021?I think for young men it won't die out, but definitely a lot of them will probably try dating or even get married at some point. Regardless of what your philosophical beliefs are regarding marriage, spending your entire life without the companionship of a partner is incredibly difficult. It requires an immense amount of dedication and will to really want no part of the opposite sex. Some of those marriages will work out, some won't. I think the most important part of the MGTOW movement is irrele… | /r/MGTOW2 | 24/01/21 04:12 PM
| -2 | NAWALT doesn't existDonovan Sharpe seems hyper red-pilled, and talks about how he retrained his girlfriend. He keeps her off social media among other things. It can be done. | /r/MGTOW2 | 19/01/21 07:44 PM |
How do I know MGTOW isn't an echo-chamber?Yeah but you if you're going to be omniscient about your future, you have to be also take the fact that you'd know how important your kids are to you as well. As you said, even with the fact that you went through an awful divorce, you wouldn't change anything unless you wouldn't know about your kids. That's not regret, that's just trying to rationalize how things could have been. | /r/MGTOW2 | 19/01/21 12:05 AM
How do I know MGTOW isn't an echo-chamber?Sandman has gotten a lot angrier since I listened to him a couple years ago - a lot of his current videos are just hateful. I look at marriage like anything else, it's a risk. There's a risk to walking outside your door every day, but you know the risks and you mitigate them. I definitely want kids, and I spend plenty of time on r/survivinginfidelity, so I'm aware of the risks, but at the end of the day, I feel like having kids is worth it. If you don't want kids though, I definitely agree - don… | /r/MGTOW2 | 18/01/21 11:00 PM
How do I know MGTOW isn't an echo-chamber?I second this - after watching Joker he sounds much more grounded than Sandman. I also like Think Before You Sleep, as he also isn't as angry as Sandman is and still presents similar information. Sandman is also where I was exposed to MGTOW, and I've mellowed since then. Personally, if I find a unicorn, I'm willing to even get married (with a pre-nup). My issue is that I want kids, and that's a difficult thing to obtain in the single life. | /r/MGTOW2 | 18/01/21 06:51 PM
Any ideas on what will happen to the UK following the election in the US?Does she 'seem' dangerous because she's black, or because she's female? Or are you aware of her background also? Because if you were, you'd realize she's also not a socialist, doesn't support Medicare for all, and you have nothing to worry about. Also, MGTOW should be supporting Medicare For All anyway. What's better for going your own way, having your healthcare tied to employment, or having healthcare no matter what so you can do whatever the fuck you want? I know which one I'd rather have. | /r/MGTOW2 | 08/01/21 08:38 PM
Any ideas on what will happen to the UK following the election in the US?There isn't anything inherently wrong with socialism - and the US never had socialism and never will. If you think it will, I suggest reinvesting yourself in learning history and a better understanding of what socialism is. What we do have are some socialist policies, such as Medicare, social security and public services, such as fire fighters, police, and the DoT. Biden is basically a 1990s Republican also, so this idea he's going too being about socialism is completely asinine, he's as bought … | /r/MGTOW2 | 08/01/21 06:54 PM
