that while women suffer from the patriarchy, men suffer from it as well. They never fail and never miss the chance to say exactly this. But what they never say is, women are perpetrators of that so called patriarchy, too. What about all the mothers raising the children, the female teachers raisinig the children, those women in higher positions in their career, female politicians? Is a man workiing his ass off to provide the family suffer less or the same or is he the bigger perpetrator of patria…

Maybe even simply the amount of men onboard in comparison to women is a not too small factor.

What about the "2x as likely to survive"? How is this stated? I mean did they use sinkings of ships with the exact numbers of women and men on board and did the math? Or did they just took all male and female survivors of all ships that sunk to state that men survive more often? Though I don't know what the methods for this were, this is something that has to be asked, which I find very sad. Cause a lot of statistics and researches are made like this.

Uh this hits hard. It's me and I never thought about it that way. I even thought about me as an idiot because of lying or not telling anything. I thought very little of myself and the question in my mind was always: "why are you such an idiot? What's wrong with you?"

You think it is of any interest for me? I'm not giving a sh*t where you are from. I'm not from over there, too. But seeing dudes being whiney hoping for help is just disgusting. This sub is the most reactionist men's sub, I could think of. Men whining and crying like bitches, sitting at home playing stupid videogames instead of doing something. They should go out and fight for their rights, discuss things in debates in public. Bring attention to what is going wrong. Bring up the problems of youn…

Isn't meritocracy one of the things that DEI should bring? Very precisely even, right? Instead you get a bunch of morons and bollocks in offices that never ever did something that could justify them being in those offices. To think he or any other thumblicker around orange potatohead incl. the diaper-wearere himself would help an "average man" is just as crazy as the whole election of the silly dancer with the tiny hands and his preference of big dicks of other men itself. Getting them into thes…

In this case? He can have hope that it gets better for him. Sure. To say he can have hope that "Musk saves him" is just plain - sorry - stupid. I wish 000CuriousBunny000 all the best, really. But I wouldn't even entrust my turd on Musk/Trump/Gaetz or all the other insane idiots who will have the power over so many people at the other side of the atlantic. Seeing what happens over there is like watching a kid play with a molotov cocktail burning and ready to explode. You know it will go wrong but…

That he saves you? No. Unless you have at least some millions of $ on your account, he will most likely give a fuck about you. This is what you voted for. Now you have to live with it. The first one who is on his mind is him. And by saying he will reduce bureaucracy he will take care for his own businesses to spread his tentacles and reduce rights for employees, to increase his profits.

This. Unfortunately this is happening around the globe in western society. Women telling men what a man is or should be. And men not being able to get out of the narrative those politics and society has and tries to keep.

A thousand chances to blame Democrats and the more leftwing side of politics for their failure of understanding men and men's problems. To state that they have to put back equality into their daily political to do list. But this time also for men. So many chances to make clear that the politcs of so many leftwing politician drive men into the arms of populistic and pragnmatic dogshit politicians. And you put it on Trump. More so: Women's sex toys include eg dildos in shape and form and optic of a horse's privates, dog's, fantasy-shapes such as dragon privates and so on. Different shapes and forms and realistic replicas of all kinds of men's penisses. Those are even designed in a way that they can ejaculate. Rotate, thrust, suck, stimulate vagina and/or clitoris. But a man using a fleshlight is a pervert. That's the way it is and goes.

So in Europe, Alice Weidel and Marine Le Pen are the leaders of the far right parties in Germany and France. And both parties seem to get responsibility in the future in each country. In Italy Georgia Meloni is even primeminister of a far right government. So I guess the future is female. But maybe a bit different than most women/men thought it would be... You cannot make this up.

Never thought of it (the thing about the time) like that. But there is surely truth in it. The other part is just what I believe. Mental workload. The fact that they really believe or want to make themselves and others believe that feminism is also for men and toxic masculinity or more so patriachy is also wrong and bad for men, speaks it all out. To use two so especially gender specific words which are usually strictly for one gender and not the other for something negativ (masculine) and positive (feminine) speaks it all out even more. There is no equality in feminism and when used with the other words like patriachy about anything bad s…

Most men hardly pull their weight as husbands and as fathers. Where do you get such things from??? Saying things like this as if those were facts is just wrong. And most fathers and mothers reach an agreement without having to fight for their rights. 51% "Tell me where your most men don fight..." are when over half of parents manage to get a divorce done fine for the children's sake? At least in Germany majority of cheaters in marriage are women. Most abusive relationships or marriages are lesbian marriages. Least abusive relationships are gay couples. Statistics show that children of single fathers are more stable, have more success careerwise as well as in private life than from singel mothers.
/r/MensRights24/07/24 01:47 PM

And you just said 40% are from unwed couples From that 40% are only 18% single parents. And from that 18% are 75% women. That pretty much refutes your quote: Not every person who has a child together is married…so that point just doesn’t count. Most men leave their partner once they get pregnant or cheat due to their attraction levels being down. Do you understand this? There isn't no most men leave their partner once they are pregnant. You see 5,4% of fathers as most men! Do you understand what…

You let out the fact that most parents are married. In US. In Europe where I'm from it's nearly the same. Around 40% of children born in unwed couples. 18% are single parents. From these 18% are 75% women. And of the 60% births in marriage are nearly 50% divorced. In 70% of the cases the woman files in for d…

How many men rather live in misery than to leave the woman just to see the kids every day. What you are saying is blatantly wrong. Of course there will be women and men leaving families. Why do you think I wrote "the nurturing love of a mother in the first 3 years..."? Think about it, it's not that hard. What's after those 3 years? Who prepares thsoe kids for the future, for being an adult, with adult decision making? If even we as men are unable to see our role in this society and as fathers, how can we suppose women to know? Of course we can be nurturing and of course women can also prepare them for life. But biologically we cannot breastfeed. We all know the solely positive e…

Don't interpret, read! Where did I rite it should be like that? We as men who have to fight for their rights should not say anything like women can be displaced. Where should it get us? If we as men who know what it means to suffer from this are open and communicative and empathetic in these discussions we can make the change. It's a biological matter of fact that men are more likely to be disposable than women. Biologically women want to mate with different men to spread genetics. Healthy genet…

I'm 41 yo. The role of the father was replaced centuries ago. What's the result. This here. Men having to fight for their rights and their place and their mental health. And the result of the results is, men get more and more replacable.
/r/MensRights24/04/24 05:17 AM

No. The nurturing love of mothers in the first 3 years of a child can't ever be displaced. And we as men should not think like it would ever be possible. It's BS. Women are beautiful. So as men. We are just so much different from each other. That is what should be accepted instead of all the gender mainstreaming. Rqual chances for all. But men are men and women are women. That's it.

Truth is, we are disposable. There is no room for interpretation. We are disposable. How many men does it take to reproduce in a healthy way? Much less than you may think. Just to reproduce without thinking of genetic problems on the long term, one healthy man can easily or let's say the sperm of men is enough to fertilize all women on earth and reproduce earth 70 times. We are disposable. One man goes, another comes. The other way round, it's a bit more complicated.

Boddy said one problem was that part of an assessment used to help identify psychopathic traits – known as the Levenson self-report psychopathy scale (LSRP) – was skewed towards men. Hmmm. A lion standing up. Maybe a mythical creature, maybe a god, maybe a human being with a lion head as part of a ritual. They don't know. But in the same area from around the same time they found also a "Venus". Clearly a woman. No lion head, no other mystical things, but clearly female shapes. What could that mean? That the woman per se is adored, praised, worshipped? So as I believed as described above?

Many! My favorite ones are Nataraj - Lord of Dance and Pashupati - Lord of Animals (or the celtic version - Horned Man). Of course, there is also Narayana or Purusha - the universal man (literally the universe in the shape of a man). Those are examples of religions in a already well advanced society. I'm (and those researches and studies) talking about times much earlier, Stone Age, when there were only tribes, maybe not even language.

Would be nicer if this wasn't published by claremont. Sorry to say so. If there are doubts and flaws in the research there must be more institutes that doubt the research. Or why is the world so attracted and sure to know by only one study/research? This would be a reasonable question, isn't it? Exactly, but women are more likely to breastfeed and take care of the baby (! not child, but especially baby), so they stay at home. In many countries they get even paid for an amount of time from government. It's less than working full-time. But they can also depend on their partner. But why again do we always have to talk about the salary gap? Because this isn't that surprising a find.

it's probably unfortunate that, currently, 70% of psychologists in the western world are women. And, they're always offering advice on how to be a better man. Which, inevitably, translates into behaving in ways which will better benefit women. I feel this. And I think the same. But this isn't contrary to my opinion that it's wrong to think of women as bad, stupid or anything that Schopenhauer said and wrote.

Thank you. I'll read it in German. I already know some of his cites. EDIT: I have to admit that the stuff Schopenhauer says about women is pretty biased, harsh, wrong even. I like his cites and thoughts about nature and men. But there is not much we should cite from him about women. This is a men's sub for men's rights. We shouldn't be a sub against women. This would mean we are no better than those we blame.

Studies show that men tend to forgive infidelity easier and faster than women. Men tend to admit infidelity easier and faster and more honest than women. In Germany studies and researches show that women even cheat more and more often than men and tend to keep it a secret for much longer if not forever. That's why researchers think that the real numbers might be even way higher than they are in display today. It's not male biology you are describing, it's your very own persona.

I don't have much problems with this. It's for safety reasons and when maybe carrying heavy weights of grocery. I find it okay. Even so these spots are not legally bounded. It's just that we all should keep them for women only or women with children. What really bothers me is that those are signs that we are not in a patriachy. That women enjoy more privileges - much more - than men though they don't get tired to claim the opposite.

Just one, but my biggest example. My own mother cheated on my father. A terrible husband, as terrible as a father can be. Not really abusive but just all in all not a nice guy. They married at very young age. They never knew how real love can be. How (beautiful) life can be. They thought because of opinions like we all here on reddit everyday that this is the life a good human has to live. Shut the fuck up, suck it up and go on with your life. If it isn't what you wish for snowflake, leave. Very…

I really think that it's not okay to cheat. Though I know first hand dozens of stories that describe some very different scenes and though cheating is not okay I found that there are circumstances where it is at least comprehensible. But I think that there are so many many more and worse things one does in a relationship that shows really horrible characteristics. And that word is the point for me. There are bad charcters out there. Those who cheat are maybe the worst. But there are also so many…

We are on the way. If you ask me. We are going to most restrict and controlling and least free times. And I don't like it.

I would also like to add that as a man, there is so much that men don't receive true like in olden times. Particularly with sexual purity and keeping their virginity, women were more sexually disciplined in the past. Now, for the most part if she's been pumped and dumped or if she's slept even with one person, I ain't going to give her the ring. seriously WTF??? This is all so stupid and plain bullshit! And with the rest I can mostly fully agree. Especially the part about cheating. It is nearly …

I don't think this guy is the hero we need or want. Exactly He booked a trip for 2 to Ireland and left without telling his pregnant wife who has been working overtime while he's unemployed. His friend thinks (!) he might have gotten two tickets. We don't know it for sure. But he's doing ALL of the chores. She seems to not be at home. Admits that he could be at interviews. Maybe he has mental problems. OP never loosed a word going into much detail with him and her. We don't know very much about t…

Again I'm not saying anything else. But what is the outcome? To force a partner to stay in a relationship and have sex they don't want to have? Of course I cannot get these thoughts of women who cheat because they feel their partners are boring in my head. I think it's plain stupid and dumb. But what should we do? Their nature is to choose the best partner - the strongest, the fittest, the most intelligent - the best fitting one looking on her DNA and his. That's nature. Their nature. Of course …

I'm not saying that they don't exist or don't work. For those who are fine with it - Great! I live in a marriage monogamous, too. But I highly doubt that my marriage lasts for very long bacause of missing intimacy. But I once believed in it. A bit more women than men are cheating in relationships. More women than men file in for divorce. All those numbers have something in common. Most of the times the reason for cheating is... - missing intimacy. We can discuss that the reasons we get to know h…

Then her husband should be (1) fully aware of her intentions and (2) acquiescent. The best thing for her to do in that situation would be to tell him before they start a relationship that she wants it to be open. The second best thing for her to do would be to tell him before they get married. The third would be for her to tell him that she wants an open marriage. If and only if he says it's OK should she seek another partner. Agree. The issue is that these women don't want an open marriage. The…

Women, generally speaking, are unsatisfiable. You always will be short of a dollar most of the time. Take care of yourself first, then see what you can do to help. Don't get sucked in. This is something no man ever imagines will be his life. But it's almost in every LTR or marriage like that. I know only a very few marriages that are different. There is always something that "needs" to be replaced, restaured, rebuild. There is always the wish for a fancy vacation, a new car or anything. You will…

The final stage of whore logic. "I can be a better wife to my husband by having some action on the side." While agreeing with most things, this is something I could think of different. Why not enjoy variety? Is that monogamous life really how life is? Haven't people in the past, our own grandparents shown and/or admitted that that may be one thing that saved their marriages throughout very rough times? And I think that it goes for both genders, us men are not very different. What hits very hard …

Women at Stage 1 feel as though something is missing in their lives. They have all the things that they wanted - a home, a family, a great husband - but they feel they should be happier. Over time, many women in this stage begin to lose interest in sex. It is not uncommon for them to spend a great deal of energy trying to avoid physical contact with their husbands because they fear it might lead to a sexual encounter. They frequently complain of physical ailments to avoid having sex and often tr…

I'm sorry man. I don't have the health or anxiety issues you have, so saying "I feel you" would be wrong. But I feel with you. That nagging after work or in freetime is something I hate. Sometimes I find myself jumping up from the couch on a sunday or at the evenings when wife thinks something has to be done or when is slamming doors or when I just even notice her walking around because I know she would be nagging and sometimes even scream at me for lying on the couch which happens pretty rarely…

So, men are the only gender group that pays more taxes than they receive. And women control or spend 80% of the world's privately held money (to corporations) Do you have some sources for it? That's very interesting cause I always felt like it but never saw anything mention it like you did here.

Nowhere in your given study is mentioned that women solely do those chores. You don't understand that. Given that men if true at all do so less of the chores you see as those, there will be those chores you like to forget or see as infrequently on top. So there won't be an imbalance. And then there are those examples I gave of situations that men naturally don't see as chore but just duty.

Well not going too much into detail. But If she gets all including our own houses we paid already before Just got the land we build them on. You will have to pay for those houses twice. Robbing money from the bank and going deep into debt on that account. The ground/land around our already build houses wasn't ours anymore. So we would have to fly with helicopter to our land means we have to buy Land we thought was already clear was our all. My subling's, out step-mom's and mine. Debts of stuff s…

Im referring to the fact that even when the child reaches school age the woman is still usually taking a career hit whether this is by staying home entirely or working less hours. And if she stays home, it's unfair that she does "more of the chores"? Are you mixing two arguments up? Im not saying that being a stay at home parent is inherently bad. Im just pointing out that the more time a person isnt working or advancing their career, the less they get put away and the more financially screwed t…

So chores are just those that YOU assume are chores. That's what I'm talking about. Maintainance doesn't happen infrequently and that's so sad and common to think. Those are burdens, mental workload thinking about and most important you choose to qualify those tasks, chores, duties in more, most and less important. That's a big part of the problem.

and most of the chores tend to fall on them. what are the chores? Who keeps track on who does for how long on what are seen as the chores? An example for that is that men tend to think of some everyday things not to see them as chores but just duties that have to be done (can't find the report or study it stood in). It's like getting a call to drive by the grocery-store after work to pick up some things or to quickly lift the saddle on the kid's bike. Or just quickly clean the filters of the AC,…

To give an example theres no expectation to take a career hit for kids for women there is also no expectation to go back to work after birth immediatly. Even after weeks/months/years it's all up to them to go back to full-time work or just part-time work. All the while men are expected to work fully. Does it put men in a better situation? Or the women? I think not, it's just as it is.

That women hold the higher rates for caregiving is just the natural fact that women are usually around the newborn because of breastfeeding ig. All in all will it lead to the woman having the choice of being a SAHM or to give the child to daycare or anything else. Think of a case where the father decides if the mother stays at home or has to go to work and the child goes to daycare. That would be patriarchy. The women have the decision if the husband/father/man has to work for them, too cause th…

Step-mom stole anything from my sibling and me after my father died. Changed the last will, "lost" some documents that proof that my sibling and I would have gotten most of it all but with agreeing that she has no disadvantage and live a life in peace and has no problems with money for the rest of her life! Seems like it wasn't enough for her. She stole anything from us. Betrayed us and our families and left us in debts that we won't be able to pay back in our lifetimes. Not saying that only wom…

They don't have trouble or struggle to date. For sure. But, as a man, many things women (not a certain woman) always say things like that (and not only for dating). Small gifts, do the chores, be confident, dress well, look after yourself, exercise, talk. hugs, kisses, and so on and on... But doing things like picking up flowers for them, open the door, help them put on or off the jacket, show them your love publicly (by kisses, hugs,...) don't do anything. It gets worse until they get angry. Do…
