stop thinking in terms of points. it's not helping. but for the sake of putting this in terms you'll understand. The lifting will get you a point, the clothes you buy with a better build will fit you better and theres another point, the confidence you get will net you another 3 and so on...

a chick prescribed anti-depressants is a huge red flag for me. plus getting "raped". either it's true and it's fucked with her head, or it's not and she's using it as an excuse for some questionable decisions in the past. can't believe you settled on this.

Get a job in the field man, it becomes pretty obvious what consulting in a particular field looks like after you've worked in it for a while. In my field at least it'd certainly require a good deal of experience under your belt.

also if you're into computers and other tech I can recommend AV integration as a great trade. as with others you'll start at the bottom with physical install work but if you're smart and motivated it's really easy to get ahead of all the other hacks in the industry and start doing really cool stuff. I got a job with an integrator in my city as a means to get out of my parents house, and within a year and a half I went from bringing materials to site to being one of our top field engineers. And just like someone mentioned a few days ago: our society overly sympathizes with single mothers, it's almost like a badge of honor. (Not saying it's always the woman's fault of course, but I'm sure a large percentage got dumped for being unfaithful)

man thank you so much for the detailed reply! There's great advice here! You've helped narrow my focus a bit, now I need to keep an open mind and try and come up with ideas! Good luck with your new business ventures!
/r/askTRP24/04/15 02:12 AM
1

I've got a question about your businesses. Are they in fields that you had worked in before you started the business, or did you simply see a gap in the market and figured the whole thing out as you went? I see myself starting a business in the future, but it just seems like it would be foolish to do without an intimate understanding of the particular field.
/r/askTRP24/04/15 01:42 AM

hence when I said perversion, no doubt I agree with you. deregulation is probably the wrong word, because it's deregulation in some areas, and predatory regulation others.

For people who were completely bankrupted by out of pocket medical bills it's a good change, I'm sorry about your situation
/r/TheRedPill21/04/15 03:10 PM
1

It ends up being cheaper for you to pay the penalty? But yea man there are definitely downsides, the Cadillac plan tax being one that needs to be ironed out. However change isn't easy. France has some of the best healthcare in the world, and yet they end up making changes to it every year, it's a step.
/r/TheRedPill21/04/15 02:01 PM
1

Yea but that's more of a result of deregulation, wealth inequality, and the perversion/inherent flaws of the capitalist system than just "Obama broke the country"
/r/TheRedPill21/04/15 01:53 PM
3

why though? can you elaborate?
/r/TheRedPill21/04/15 04:27 AM
10

I second Wendell4's question, how did Obama fuck up the country? The economy is doing great, we are on the verge of ending decades long trade embargoes with Cuba and Iran, people with pre-exisiting conditions can finally get healthcare... I'm no Obama lover btw, I still disagree with his stance on many issues.

Honestly i dont have a counter argument because i disagree eith the fundamental point in molyneux's thoery. All the issues he brings up are perfecty valid, and i agree with about 75% of what he says but i just think our need to dominate and exert power over others is a result of years of evolution and not of a violent or oppressive upbringing. Am i understanding this correctly?
/r/TheRedPill09/03/15 03:00 PM

This goes way furthur back. I could say tribal power structures but it goes futher than that as well. Its the inherent animal instinct to kill or be killed. Having the alpha leading the pack...
/r/TheRedPill09/03/15 02:53 PM
3

Yea but what about those smart enough to subvert the constitution. There are literally countless examples of leaders who, peice by peice, dismanteled "nonnegotiable" constitutions
/r/TheRedPill09/03/15 02:49 PM
3

I disagree that that is the source cause. It may have an impact, however power structures evolved over millions of years as it provided societies a means to survive. sure they aren't really needed anymore in our world of abundance, but they're still deeply ingrained in our DNA. That's kind of the whole point of TRP, to understand these instinctual behaviors in the modern context...
/r/TheRedPill09/03/15 05:00 AM
3

that's my biggest problem with him. he's definitely a smart guy and is totally right with his views on education and state overreach and whatnot, but he's incredibly naive to believe that others won't fill the power vacuum left in his stateless world. i dont think anarcho capitalism (or at least stefans) is red pill at all. it chooses to ignore human instinctual behavior as you mentioned, while the red pill is meant to educate and inform about our subconscious tendencies.
/r/TheRedPill09/03/15 04:57 AM

agreed, it's a respectful comment but is pretty mucha given and I don't really see how it helps the dialog, other than to potentially comfort op

no I don't, but according to him he is suffering from "existential depression", has been diagnosed and prescribed many different treatments and they haven't worked. He seems to be able to string coherent thoughts together. I have a mentally ill family member and when he is having an episode he is completely lost touch with what's going on around him. OP doesn't seem to have it that bad. Is he depressed? Sure sounds like it. Is it impossible for him to overcome it? I highly doubt it
/r/askTRP15/02/15 06:54 PM

I think that's the debilitating thought. (I'm not saying he doesn't have mental illnesses, but using that as a scapegoat won't help him)

before you off yourself. why don't you give "getting your life in order" a try? It solves two problems at once. It's a remedy for the chronic depression you're feeling, and gives you a relatively exciting reason to live. Also ditch your feeling that you're entitled to something. You work hard for things in life. It's not like you are unfairly disadvantaged in where you are in life now. Imagine living in an impoverished country, or a warzone. I see the parallels in music production as well. The answer isn't buy more gear or spend endless amounts of time to make the "perfect" song. The way you learn to make something good by finishing a lot of songs and figuring out what worked and what didn't work. Liberalism has become corrupted. Liberals today censor and silence opposing opinions, I'm not talking about political parties I'm talking about ideologically left leaning people, their thoughts and ideas are based in idealism not directly measurable truth, liberalism has become the religion to pragmatisms science. all the other points here are great but for some reason this stuck out to me the most.

Game is all about intimacy. A PUA is just a man who can create an illusion of intimacy very quickly. this sums it up so perfectly

Too be fair 69 in a 55 isn't reckless and having 5 beers in a night even for a woman doesn't black you out. It's curious that she as a judge she refused a breathalyzer I wonder if that legally works in her favor

If I were in a long term relationship, I would demand that there be loving mutual appreciation that didn't require us to be constantly playing some psychological game. That being said I know my role in that relationship, and though I would hope to be able to intimately show vulnerability to my S.O., if all I did was show vulnerability I would come across as weak. If I during the course of our relationship became an out of shape, pushover, lazy, weak slob I would be surprised if my SO wasn't cons…

it's living the alpha lifestyle that gives you confidence, if you're being the best man you can possibly be, you don't have to try and convince yourself to be less scared and hesitant, you simply will be less scared and hesitant

I had to look up schadenfreude but you're totally right haha, I think its pent up frustration that makes people behave like this here, but you're totally right, they're not our enemies, they're just plugged in.

I'm pretty much exactly where you're at man. I used to smoke a ton and I stopped ever since I've gotten down to business. Honestly I haven't really found it to be a hindrance when trying to get with girls, its only really a problem if I cave and smoke and then I'm so spacey I can hardly say a word. If girls judge you for not smoking find different girls. Or just invite them over for a drink or something idk

A close friend of mine is a recruiter. He sits around all day looking at resumes. He sat down with my resume and had me make similar changes and now my resume also looks pretty professional. That being said.... he was very lucky getting the job he got, right out of college getting a job as a recruiter is very rare, he got it through... Connections and Networking! not by sending out his resume hoping to hear back. Congrats on your job, I'm currently working on expanding my family business and oth…

now I'm confused, I thought a red pill woman was one that understood gender roles, and as such didn't run rampant until they hit the wall, and that fucking around like crazy was what made women blue pill...?

So the way I understand it. This subteddit is all about trying to teach guys how to escalate?? Once you've demonstrated enough value as a male (as he did) thats pretty much the easiest part. It should be clear from what happened that night that escalating was hardly a challenge. He built up rapport and his male value enough that by the end of the night the girl had it ingrained in her head that he was in fact the challenge. Honestly they probably went home, started hooking up, and got naked.

Its interesting to see what happens when it dies In the past when a civilization died, the repercussions (depending on which and at what time), were fairly isolated This is now a global civilization, i should probably read more about it.

/r/askTRP15/03/14 12:24 AM

It does in everyday life but like op here said, with the redpill lens its simply a logical explanation for a promiscuous females actions, As someone who has swallowed the red pill, you cannot think so emotionally about a females actions, only pragmatically Right?
