If you want to continue to have the exact same output as you currently do.. sure, but then you don't create a machine learning project to get better candidates. This is just bad machine learning. I would not be surprised if it weighted name length or appartment number. This project was just a shit project. But if the goal was to not have any changes.. great job. Bad projects like this are subject to Apophenia and other dumb stuff. I think you give machine learning too much credit for understandi…

Who cares about average when you hire, you want the best you can afford. This is a case of using machine learning with a bad dataset and expecting it to not just be the same output as input. I'm sure the AI is full of other issues, like valuing name lenght..

The situation is a very common one in machine learning, it's the same issue that caused an AI to diagnose moles with rulers next to them as cancerous, because the reference data had it.. or the one that used the file paths for the input data to skip having to learn all together. As for knowledge, amazon told when this came out they had used data from previous hires, meaning it would mirror the behavior and biases that were currently in action. Machine learning is not magic, it just teaches a com…

This has nothing to do with this, they fed old hire data into the machine learning and told it that was right, so it kept doing what they had done all along. It's just sloppy work, this has nothing to do with women or insurance, it's just shit in shit out.

This is an example of shit in shit out, for the amazon case they used a dataset of previous hires and told the AI to do the same, it did and kept the bias they tried to remove.

Last par there should be mgtow, incels are people who want sex but can't get it (and are angry about it usually).

If your management value "lazy" people, you might want to question your role at the company.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
