Abused men who kill their intimate partner in self-defense are more likely to be charged with murder than women in the same situation. Women who murder their intimate partners are less likely to be charged with the crime. Please provide a citation for this. Because only 6% of men are attacked by their partners, compared with the global average of ~38% women. Far less than that are truly locked into the traumatic events as women are.

38% of women are murdered by their partner 8% of men are killed by their partner. In what way are the women not the oppressed party here? EDIT - Globally, roughly equal numbers of men and woman die, which is self-evident given the ~1% difference in global gender differences.
