I haven't experience this. I had a really great first date last Friday. We met "just for drinks" but it turned into 4.5 hours of talking laughing flirting, and kissed. If the energy is dropping significantly after only 30 minutes, I think you need to dig deeper for funny stories, more flirting material, etc to keep it playful and laughing for much longer. If going well then you can dive into more comfort and deeper topics.

I'm having trouble reading women and physically escalating. I've been out of the "game" for ten years due to being in a relationship, so I'm having fear and anxiety about physical aspects. I'm doing quite well with being fun/interesting/developing comfort though. Every women I've met for a date has wanted to see me again so far. So I know I have a solid foundation to build on here.
