The whole point is that everyone should be treated equally. It shouldn’t matter how small the problem may seem. We all need to stand up for each other and build a strong foundation for the future. Agreed. I think it would be hard not to sympathize with him because he thought he was doing the right thing. Press charges because he kicked a guy who was already down and made the situation worse by blindly believing the thief. If someone was stealing my wallet and pulled that switch on me, I would want strangers to maybe detain us both until everybody verified rather than to blindly give one of us the wallet based on who is crying wolf the loudest.

It’s not that she should suffer. It’s that she should get the same “equal” treatment that (mostly) men receive until issues like alimony are fixed/adjusted to meet today’s relationship standards where men are not required to be the only breadwinner when women have many opportunities to work and provide for themselves. I thought it was against the law to be held in a place against your will? I could’ve sworn back in the digg days, there was a video of a security guard unlawfully arresting or detaining someone because they wouldn’t show the receipt for something they just paid for at the cash register a few feet away. People in the comments were saying it was unlawful of the security guard. At most, since no one was in danger, he could’ve grabbed a description and reported to the police.

I was over my heartbreak when I found this sub and I believe this sub has helped me realize my bad investment and showed me the way to properly invest with my new LTR. I don't think it should totally go away but I do believe in reform. Some guys I work with (military), want their wives at home and prefer them to do nothing (we call them dependapotamus). I think those divorces deserve alimony at least to some extent because the husband allowed or wanted this. I also think Alimony should taper off. It really shouldn't last longer than married years divided by 2 and should taper off from 50% to 40% and so on each year that passes.

I don't know if there are but I don't imagine the males sharing rooms or showers with females. They added (or maybe changed) berthings for females on subs so they could have women submariners. In boot camp and I'd assume every duty station, women have separate facilities. They even added a breast feeding room to my shore station. I guess the bathroom wasn't good enough to pump milk in. The part I don't understand is the run. I understand women aren't quite as strong in general but I know many women who can run faster than me and they get a much better score that I would at the same pace. I would perhaps entertain the idea of a bell curve for the females getting 100 at slightly slower time. But, if my failing score is a pass for them, that's shit imho.

My assumption is that they had a set amount they were willing to pay each employee and since the men were already working the longer hours, they got less per hour but maybe the same paycheck overall when compared to the females. So it looked from accounting that both sexes were paid equally but I truth, men ended up getting more work for the same pay.

Is there any hard data that could show the average pay of US Military Men vs US Military Women? I would assume that the same "metric" that the white house is using, could show a pay gap even in the military because men are more likely to stay in longer and reach higher pay grades. This is only a guess of mine but I feel I can't be too far off since this works at the white house and they have pay scales just as we do.

As a current sailor, I can confirm this is true. I'm on an amphibious assault ship so we carry marines too... the girls get their pick of the crop at sea and depending on which side they choose, they get called boat hoes or marine mattresses.
