Ridicule and derision just come with the territory of development I suppose. Thanks for the encouragement.

That's absolutely what I needed to hear. Thanks. I'm gonna make some banana bread and then get back to the grindstone. I appreciate the encouragement, wholeheartedly.

But you're not listening to the stock photo; you're listening to the person who thought that stock photo was a good representation of his site. The whole thing is hard to read anyway. Pay me twenty bucks and I could write clearer content in an hour.

I thought you could also build rapport by messing up people's names on purpose (I guess as a neg). My thoughts have been, when you address Lauren, call her Lauraine, but if you get the chance to introduce her, introduce her properly. Then keep screwing up her name on purpose, but just lightheartedly. I could be completely wrong, so please correct me if you think I am.

You're completely right. I suppose what success I've had has been more luck than skill. So, just remember the essentials. Remember the basics. It's not hard, so don't over think it.

Holy crap! That's right! I remember all of that from when I started reading pick up. Why on earth did I forget it? This was the first thing I learned, but I suppose I never practiced it, so I forgot it. It all makes more sense to me now.

That makes some real sense. I suppose I have trouble being physical. I don't know why, but my physical needs aren't all that great, so I don't really think too much about physical contact other than that it's important. But, I need to be more comfortable being more physical. Not aggressive, but assertively physical (right?).

Yes and no. I don't have much experience with acting yet, but I feel like a lot of AA comes from preconceptions that being on stage doesn't deal with. But, learning to be cool with being a fool in front of a bunch of people does help. You also learn not to think about things too much I suppose. That's where all nervousness seems to come from as far as I've experienced.

Right. I feel like that's what I needed to be told. Thanks! I would definitely encourage acting. If there aren't too many hot chicks in whatever group you join, there will definitely be some at your performances. It can be a lot of work, but it's fun in general so who cares.

Yeah, I'm sorry. I was afraid I'd get this message, but I figured posting couldn't really hurt all that much. Thanks for the kind guiding hand!

That makes sense, but I'd argue quality over quantity. That sounds like it boils down to personal taste.

I wish instead of downvoting you, someone left a response refuting what you've said. This sounds like good advice to me, and I can't think of any legitimate reasons for disagreeing.

Be careful with gym game, if you like that gym. Don't shit where you eat is a pretty good rule to follow. Treat it as higher risk than normal approaches. The platinum rule.

Someone else made a post stating that you should approach girls like they are already in a relationship with you. So long as you keep it light hearted, I think this would work fine.

That's what I'm here for. I'm not lost am I? <_>

Funny that you say that: ever since this started, no matter how nice things have seemed, this terrible thought keeps entering my mind. I keep thinking, "this can only end badly." Recently though, I realized that there's a chance things don't have to turn out that way. To me, that's the same as 100%. Again, thanks!

Thanks! It was very nice. She's very nice. We'll see where this goes.

Just went there. Why is there nothing there?

I am familiar with kino, and therefore a step on the right path there. Although, being that I am a visual person, I might need to find some visual aids to better remember how to escalate. My biggest fear isn't actually being friend zoned, but rather just being thought of as immature.

Good advice to remember. I really feel comfortable with the going out for coffee idea, which is something I just hadn't thought of. Not sure why.

No, no, boy scout here. I am familiar with geocaching. In fact, we have worked at the same camp the past two summers and her school is across the street from mine. Thanks! I like the arcade idea myself.

As a romantic, I feel that detaching yourself is the wrong choice, but as an existentialist, that seems to be an intelligent decision.

As a senior in high school, i am saving this list. I hate high school and it feels like a prison, so I am planning on making the most of college. Thanks a lot!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
