So I have a couple comments on this. In response to your edit, There is a very fine line between holding your frame and coming off as a complete dick when a baby is involved. I am not saying you were a dick. Im just saying it in general, trust me I learnt this the hard way. In my house there are a couple issues that are not up for negotiation. I will never back down on them and my wife is fine with it. When it comes to issues with our daughter I do not take the same hardline stance. I promise yo…

I am going to second a couple of the comments here. It is not about the what chores you do and what chores she does. It is what are the reasons you do the chores.. If you are doing the dishes because you think it will make her happy I promise you it won't she will point out the fact that you didn't clean the counters. Or if you are doing the dishes because she nagged you to do them then you are doing them for the wrong reason. This was one of the biggest issues I had when I first swallowed the p…

I can understand the feeling "lost that fight". Try not to think about your relationship as a win/loss situation. It implies that you are lacking in some aspect of control in life. If you focus your energy on you and things that are important to you then you will always win. It is up to her to decide to follow that.

She lost her shit and accused me of wrecking the night. She was looking to provoke an argument the second we got in the car and got home. I realized my mistake and ignored it. Next day I was busy studying for an exam and ignored her the entire day. By night she was fine and back to her happy self. A year ago that kind of spat would have gone on for a couple days. Need to try to catch myself before it happens next time. I think I recovered well by not allowing it to escalate into a full blown fig…

Completely lost my frame this weekend. Was at a concert with my wife. We had great seats 4 rows from the stage. We were having a great time until the concert ended. She immediately went to her anxious freakout mode that we needed to rush home to relieve her parents from baby sitting. The people beside us were taking there time getting set to go so she attempted to shove past them. I calmly told her just to wait. Then she demanded we go the other direction so I start leading that direction. We go…

It sounds like you are wasting a ton of energy and frame on something that is not going to change. By calling her ms. (insert maiden name) you are acting completely butthurt and beta. Not to mention that by showing her that it bothers you, you are only giving her ammo for future confrontations. Don't think that she does not keep track of things that upset you. She will use that at the drop of a hat to reclaim power if she feels she needs to. This does not make her a bitch this makes her a Girl. …

I could care less if my wife changed or hyphenated her last name. I told her that there was no way in hell our kids would have hyphenated names. She took my name.

The shaming of the mid life crisis is just another way that society and your spouse holds you back and tries to keep your SMV lower than hers. You want to go by a harley or topless corvette.... she accuses you of going through a midlife crisis, the truth is that she knows that your SMV increases exponentially when you are doing things for your self. Taking the redpill is different because instead of it being a temporary phase in your life this is a permanent way of life that you implement and fu…

A lot of people seem to find that when they start out the get the wife or SO trying to lure them into a fights or arguments. It his her way of trying to push you out of frame. I think they have some secret jedi mind power that allows them to sense a disturbance in the force. Expect that this is only going to get worse especially as you start going to the gym. She is not going to like you changing especially for the better. You are going throw her perfect stable life out of sorts. Don't let her s…

Talking less to your wife about your feelings. Treat words as currency. you earn more words through having solid thoughts; and don’t spend them all in one place. "If I had more time. I would have written a shorter letter" - Blaise Pascal If people just stopped and really thought about what there are saying conversation would be so much better off. I rather be the one in the group that doesn't say much that everyone listens to when I do actually talk then the "Funny Fat Guy" that everyone wants t…

It is alarming how much "blue pill music" there is. For me the go to is Rage Against the Machine. Songs like take the power back and know your enemy could have been written for the struggling man.

The key thing that you did right is seeing the comfort test making her feel better and then fucking her brains out! Excellent job!

Nothing worth attaining comes easy. Do you want to walk around on flat ground all day just getting by because it is comfortable... or do you want to struggle to get up the mountain and see how fucking good the world looks from above.?.?.?

I implemented a strict budget and we follow the traditional anniversary gifts. example something leather for year 3. We also are very honest about what we want. We tell each other very clearly what we want so that it is not stressful for either of us. That being said if I was bothered anytime she returned a gift I would go crazy. This goes into the no fucks given category.
