I hear ya man, and I'm thinking on it. I think I can relate your point more to outcome independence than actually "winning" the outcome. In my experience, if you take a strong stance, that gives people something to measure against. There are too many unstable people in the world who are prepared to go scorched earth, turning it into a game of what extreme can they go to in order to make you concede something. If people leech too hard, kick them off your planet. If that's not possible, devise a w…

I actually prefer to be a huge coward and avoid conflict. There is enough crazy and mental illness from people trying to block my path even taking the path of least resistance. If I'm that invested in the bluster of another man, I could be playing video games.

Still thinking about ya dude. Don't be scared to feel the feelings for as long as you need to and how you need to. In the beginning it was cold, methodical planning and self care. I would follow the plan, even when nothing made sense and I felt nothing. Today, I'm having a good day. The rose tint is finally giving way to my good thing I have going on, for me. Edit: also, I had to learn to give up on making it make sense. I went as far as I could to understand, and there was nothing there for me.

Our stories have a lot of similarities. I'm almost 7 months out and I predict it'll probably take 2 years for me to really be over it. My identity was shattered, I felt like I was 20% of a person. Now, it feels like maybe 90%. 62 pounds down (keto). Quit my anti-depressants (with doctor approval). I still cry a bunch. My tips? Go no (or absolute bare minimum) contact. My ex wanted to keep being best friends, and no way in hell is that viable for me. I was doing 90% of the chores and relationship…

Take care bro. It's a long journey in a wild world. Can't control people or the world. Just try to enjoy yourself. Allow yourself to feel. For something powerful and practical, try a nervous system reset. A lot of stuff feels like chaos at the start. I'm 6 months in and I'm just now starting to develop an identity that I feel comfortable in.

I stopped smoking weed for a year and a half. 4 months after divorce started smoking again and coming off my antidepressants (with doctor approval). Things got exponentially easier/better. It didn't fix things, but it let me stop hurting 24/7 while I heal. Weed or not, I also immersed myself in nervous system reboots. I laid in bed 2 or 3 hours just feeling. Kind of meditating, but just laying relaxed and quiet and comfortable, mostly awake. It was like being on a roller coaster, and was intimid…

Just hit the 6 month mark. First 6 months were desperate, motivated, scared, confused, tragic and lonely. 10 years of neurological pathing running out to rewrite and discover. 6 months of begging like a dog and digging into the core of the world for answers. The best answer I got was there are no answers. Just that regardless of one's own personal truth, even the most intelligent and capable women (people) can build their entire reasoning out of what makes things make sense, versus the actual tr…

Yup. But only more healing can change that.

Sheeeesh. Ex-wife was constantly quitting and starting social media. She would get so annoyed with me and say I was using "weaponized incompetence". Or whatever the flavor of the week is. Admittedly, I went down my own rabbit hole at looking at the lowest vibration manosphere brain rot about how horrible women are all the time. The algo just kept feeding it to me, and it will totally hijack your brain. We had discussed before about how toxic and dangerous that stuff is. I know I'm not immune to …

I was so lost in it. I'd swear on my soul she was a 10/10, made for me, divine thing. Oneitis off the charts. Lift dudes. My charisma/sincerity build could not keep things rolling. Chasing my dream is helping things get fun again. But if I lifted I could have had both, I'm fairly confident. Now I'm lonely and fat instead of lonely and fit. So I'll have to start lifting anyway. Watch out y'all dang. But, sir, thank you for reaching out to the community. Trp did give me the skills to build my life…

Half a year ago, I got divorced suddenly. Redpill helped me land my 10/10 soulmate and have an amazing time. I think I banked on living the exception though. I quit lifting (which was minimal anyway) and I let my relationships erode to bare bones. My primary focus was giving us a safe, stable, comfortable life. I dabbled at my dream ambitions, but it was just a small hobby. After ten years, from my perspective, My relationship with my dream wife went from 100% to her vanishing on me overnight wh…
