I wish hinge would add “leftist” to their political options. If a woman is like a Josh Shapiro or Richie Torres liberal, I’m game. If they’re like an AOC or Bernie “liberal”, I am not game.

This whole freak out over data centers is ridiculous. Almost all the reasons people give are either completely made up or heavily exaggerated.

I have an addiction to following the news. I would bet my entire net worth that in the last decade I’m in the 99% percentile of “news” consumers. It has never once benefited my life. It’s always negative, you can’t talk about it with other people irl cause it’s not polite, and I never walk away with knowledge that is usable. It gives me a weird sense of being productive when it’s not at all, it’s pretty much reality tv that I follow religiously. Funny thing is, I don’t even vote my opinions on m…

It’s not supposed to be doing any math. It’s just finding numbers that are somewhere in a file and pasting them. It actually knew what number it needed to get to and artificially made an entry to make the total work and even gave it a fake description. If a person had done this there’d be no other explanation other than intentional deception.

I gave AI a pretty simple task at work. Basically I need more detail behind some numbers. So I gave it a bunch of files where I knew the detail was, and an example of how I wanted it presented, and the sum that those numbers should come to for the new ones. It copied the example’s exact number, then added its own made up number so it would get to the correct number then told me it was done successfully. At first I was blown away but then when I was looking in detail I saw what it did. Not only d…

I try to use AI at work, but it still gets so lost sometimes. I gave it something I’d probably get to someone just out of college. Involved digging through a set a files, finding some number, and recreating an example

I’ve traveled. I’ve been there done that. Think I’ve been to 40+ countries at this point and lived in Europe for two years. What annoys me is they aren’t self aware enough to realize why they like it. They all make it out as if they are becoming more cultured or something. If they just said they liked expensive vacations I’d be chill with it.

One of my pet peeves is women who like to “travel”. 90% of the time it just means they like to go on vacation, but somewhere that they can brag about. Woah crazy, you like to have no responsibilities, spend a bunch of money, and see new things? That’s so cool and novel. Most of these women haven’t even seen all of their own city.

The most annoying part of my nicotine addiction is having to go buy the stuff. “Can I get three of the 6mg wintergreen zyns?” Is always too much for the person behind the counter at 7/11 who barely speaks English to handle.

I’m in an online masters program bc my company pays for it and some of the profs do not give a fuck. One of mine didn’t grade a single assignment till the week grades were due. Then, if it involved any manual grading, you just got a 100%. For example, one of our exams was only short answer questions. Every single person got a 100%. Ya, my fucking ass. Also, the college literally has a rule that all exams/quizzes can’t be given via lockdown browsers or with a camera. It’s so blatantly a cash grab…

This isn’t a pro-porn comment or about use specifically in a relationship. This is only aimed at women who want to demonize the men using porn under the guise of “protecting women”. Being anti porn because you want to protect its users is an argument someone could make. Obviously being in a healthy relationship would be more desirable to porn. But a lot of guys don’t have that option.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/26 06:55 PM
3

I don’t think the women who say this stuff are actively thinking of themselves and controlling the men around them. I think women as a class see themselves as the gatekeepers of male sexual pleasure and porn is a small way their class looses power. Also, even if you’re inactive, you still have the ability.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/26 05:48 PM
8

Women who are anti-porn actually just want to control more of men’s sexuality not protect women. On its face it’s silly, they’ll claim that any and all porn is somehow exploitative which just infantilizes women. However, even if you take a physical woman out of the mix and just talk about cartoon porn or AI porn, they’ll still contest that it’s somehow an affront to women. In reality, they just see porn as competition. They want men to have to beg and gravel to receive sexual pleasure while they…

I’ve been ranting about this for months, but when my company forced us to go back to the office they kept insisting that employees that were still remote bc they lived too far wouldn’t loose out on any promotional opportunities. I get why they need to say that bc they’re worried people will jump ship, but that doesn’t make any sense. No one talks about the struggle of being a very hairy man. Women can just straight shave everything and be questioned by no one. As a guy who’s been hairy his whole life, people would immediately take note if I shaved it all off. My parents would probably think I’m gay. So my next best option is to trim, however, you actually need to fade the body parts together. Like if I trim my leg hair it’s noticeable disproportionately to how long my arm hair is. But then if I shave my arms, I need to also …

Its scary how easy it is to get a GLP-1. I wasn’t even planning on getting it was just checking out how it worked. I assumed there’d be like a video call and pictures and possible labs. Literally a 3 minute quiz, 20 second phone, and they’re already shipping it. I love modern technology.

Decided recently I don’t feel like being ugly. Got on finastride, tretinoin, and a GLP-1 in the last two months. Medical advancements have brought me the opportunity, might as well risk it for the biscuit. You can always have better skin texture, more hair, be thinner and look better.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/26 07:16 AM

Obviously Trump demonizes China and is over the top. However, that’s what he should do, China is a rival and threatens US hegemony so we should crush them however possible. Whether that’s physically or through disinformation. This doesn’t mean that anything bad a US official says about China isn’t true. Again, anti American propaganda has melted your brain and you can’t see up from down. The oil thing is like a 6th graders take on why we fight people in the Middle East.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 09:11 PM

I’m not saying every decision was perfect. Of course you can argue that we overreacted. But people are aiming their fire at the wrong people. For example, Facui was only an advisor to the president, and the federal government didn’t do lockdowns. Lockdowns came from local governments. So go yell at your governor.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 09:04 PM

Do I believe one of the most populated and dense countries on earth and who’s been a hotspot for diseases in the past is responsible for a pandemic? Yes. China also continues to refuse to release certain information it has pertaining to COVID. Wonder why that could be. You’ve just fallen for a different flavor of propaganda. America always bad meh. Go watch Hassan’s stream or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 08:51 PM

I don’t even know which part is anti Chinese? The lab leak would be more anti US than anti China bc we funded the lab partially. China having nasty ass wet markets where super viruses come from is worse and also true.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 08:40 PM

I’m fine with that. China sucks. They still won’t release all the data they have on Covid.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 08:35 PM

All the sane people have yet to get a reckoning on the stupid shit that was spread during Covid, instead we are moving backwards. No one’s proved it came from a lab leak in fact there’s more evidence now that it definitely didn’t come from a lab. The vaccines didn’t cause excess deaths nor was anyone forced to get vaccinated. The lockdowns did ended, and everything has gone back to normal.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 08:25 PM

I’ve heard that too. I’ve been taking it for 4 years at this point and have gotten off of it for extended vacations and haven’t noticed any. However, I think taking it for so long has caused my base level of anxiety to rise. It also maybe cause slight anhedonia. TBH, all worth it.

All reoccurring bills should be billed on the first of the month. Rent, gym, phone, WiFi, electricity, credit card, etc. idc how they have to work it out, but I find it weirdly difficult to track for what im paying when everything is taken out on a random date. Saw a TikTok with 100k likes that said that Lindsey Clancy didn’t actually kill her kids. This woman says that Lindsey’s husband drugged her, killed the kids, and convinced Lindsey she did it during a psychotics break. The lady then says that Lindsey’s lawyer actually knows this but hasn’t told Lindsey and is instead slowly presenting through the case for some reason and this case is actually about the husband.

A masters degree doesn’t seem as fun as undergrad. There’s a lot more variation in ages and the stages of life that students are in. Also undergrad is 4 years so you have a lot more time to get a group of friends while masters are a year or two at most.

So many of my coworkers were talking a big game, saying immediately once an RTO is put in place they would be gone. However, once it got implemented, they miraculously all forgot saying that. Had one who’d literally been telling me for years that if it happened she’d be out the door, guess who’s sitting catty corner to my cubicle. And like I get it, they probably just wanted to signal disconnect. But they had me excited bc I thought I’d get to see some drama. Instead I just watched all my cowork…

The story she’s telling makes no sense. A drunk man breaks into your house, rapes you, falls asleep in your bed, and your first thought is “gee wiz, I don’t want to call the cops bc he might get a DUI charge, better I lay in bed with him all night”.

Women don’t compared height. They can only understand it in reference to someone else, but like if you ask a woman how tall she thinks you are it’s bizarre. The head of my department was out on medical leave for about a year and a half and he recently returned. Everyone’s doing their ass kissing rounds, but not one person will ask the most obvious thing, which is if they could be gone that long with no replacement how tf is he worth the hundreds of thousands of dollars we pay him a year? And it wasn’t even a routine year. We outsourced a huge aspect of the department and did layoffs while he was gone.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 04:32 PM

The “who pays on a date” discourse always chaps my ass not bc women want the guy to pay, I don’t really care about paying. I go on so few dates I could drop $500 on every date and it wouldn’t matter.
