Thanks, man, that's helpful. I think I should clarify for me, off the grid is where I can self-sustain, along the lines of a guarded homestead, but your right I would need a team of like-minded guys to garner enough resources. I bought a house 2 years ago in the suburbs and through my job have spent a lot of time taking meetings with guys in the middle of nowhere who own 100+ acres and get all their meat through hunting their own land, welling their water, etc- basically the opposite of the way …

Im not the kind of guy that will put his head in the sand, but I have a literal feeling of doom and helplessness on the future of our country. I have nephews so I have an invested stake, with your understanding of history is there anything that I/we should be doing? Or do you think its too late and I need to go off the grid and become self sustaining- thats what it seems like

Eh, I was raised by women, I've heard enough female perspectives for two or three lifetimes. I accidentally watched the today show the other day and it doesn't even hide its female bias, got me thinking about the little media, books, music I allow myself to consume. It's a lot of female-driven narratives but outside of the sports realm, I didn't know who or where to look to. This is the manliest place I know so I thought id ask here.

Thats my goal man, I'm 30 don't have any kids, I have a good job, am avoiding marriage obviously but I want sons, I want to be what my dad didn't know how to be, I dont know how to get to the point you're at without the nonsense of a divorce. Maybe future generations will figure it out, for now maybe adoption? I don't know theres alot of issues that arise. Either way congrats, you won the war man. Enjoy it
