"Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. Now I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman, commits adultery." I pray for God's Grace, that your hard heart might be softened. We are called to the law of Love.

You establish your argument on sand: your own definition. Show me in scripture where Jesus equivocates on unfaithfulness to also mean a "state" instead of strictly an act. And show me where Jesus condones any sexuality with another person besides one's wife.

There are various parts but one that I remember off the top is where he talks about getting the "church girl" to go in the upstairs youth group room during church service to shag. After finishing, they head back down to the main room while everyone is singing hymns, and rejoin her parents in the pews. Then at one point looking down at her legs and seeing man gravy drip down them, because she was wearing a dress. I'd say that's fairly ungodly.

To add onto this, take things SLOWLY. You are both going to be nervous and that's normal. Just enjoy the moment. Take your time, don't have orgasm as the goal. Just focus on enjoying eachother's bodies. Make sure to warm her up throughout the week, and even offer to give her a sensual massage leading up to more sexual acts. I may also recommend the book "Sex God", where the main premise centers on generating desire in women, so that they want to more actively pursue you. Just be warned that it's…

you condone divorce on the basis of not having sex as often as you'd like? This is not biblical. There is only one circumstance in which God (may) allow divorce, and that's infidelity. That's it.

That’s tough brother, sounds like you went through a lot for a very long time…It also sounds like you’re feeling ready to move on. When was the divorce, if you don’t mind me asking?

What a reflective and thoughtful response. When I get an award, I’m coming back. RemindMe! 3 days “award this man”

Not surprised by any of this, if I’m honest. It’s a common pattern, and you’ve just hit the breaking point. Now’s the time to act and grow in wisdom/understanding, because you’re likely missing knowledge in a variety of areas. Again, if you have time shoot me a pm and let’s setup a call brother. God bless.

Damn bro, I'm so sorry this has happened... I can't imagine how much confusion/pain you're going through. Let me share a couple scattered thoughts (don't have much time at the moment). But I'm currently helping a friend turn a very similar situation around so would be happy to help how I can. I'd love to actually help in depth but would need to hop on a call to really get more context/hear your story. PM if you're available. Anyway, here are my initial impressions: It sounds like you're feeling …

Correct. Red pill is blue pill in disguise because it focuses on controlling women— women are still the focus, and being central to the red pill mindset (since it’s materialist/Darwinian) it actually gives women control over RP men. They’re controlled by their appetites and focus on having procreative advantage over women. But we are called to conquer ourselves so that we can focus on God. Were called to conquer our appetites and emotions. Because they’re gifts for us to use when we conform them…

Glad this sub is getting more attention but would recommend mods consider a backup hosting option as the slow burn of Reddit censorship gets closer.

If you are dominant in bed, it communicates you want to take her. I.e. that she has immeasurable influence over you—that her beauty enraptures you. This makes women feel incredibly valuable and powerful.

Hey u/CounterReformist Now that you’ve converted you’re now called to renewed your mind through The Truth. And part of this is learning that HAVING sex does not determine your alpha ness or humanity. Because as Christians we recognize that Christ was the first and only True Humanity that attained to God’s intention for humanity. Ie, He’s the ALPHA and omega, and we are called and now drawn to become like Him. However, Jesus never had sex; and yet He is The Alpha! He defines what it means to be T…

Just the fact that you're asking these questions is a good indicator of where you're headed u/prisonmike1990. You're gonna go far as long as you keep seeking wisdom, many counselors, and honestly face what you're afraid of, which is exactly what you're doing here—you're doing a good job, my man! Now, while I agree with much of what's been said below, I also wanted to add, as some others suggested, getting connected to a community like celebrate recovery. And also, I think your situation would la…

First, I think you're setting yourself up for a properly good time by asking these kind of questions—good on you! Now, I just want to perhaps explain and emphasize some of what's been said below. Things are a bit messy, but I think you'll get what I mean. The most important thing to consider is: your wife will need time, so be patient. I'd think about your future wife and take things quite slow for her if she needs it. Work on communication, and reading her body signs. Build up slowly and encour…

Oh u/SpiritualPatterns, I forgot to mention the eye gazing technique! Basically, there are some studies out there where people were randomly matched for dates, and some were told to silently stare into each others eyes for 5 five minutes before a date, another group told to do so after the date, (and I think there was a control group that did nothing). Anyway, the result of the experiment strongly correlated pre-date gazing with participant confidence in statements like "[I could see us having a…

Idk brother. Physical beauty isn't a big deal, as it quickly fades. We all know the end of Proverbs... And when I was dating around (currently exclusive now) I would always avoid women who spoke like this. They were almost invariably complainers, naggers, nerdowells, and stupid. There's so much more to life than getting romantic attention, and if you didn't have a goal outside of that you'd likely complain too. ez filter Again, just focus on your calling to know God, and women will be attracted …

If you have many health problems, it may be extremely profitable to make sure you maximize medical assistance—can you get access to ADHD medication? (You'd be surprised at how it'd change your ability to think clearly.) Have you sought a group for OCD therapy (ERP)? How do you manage your autism? You have a body and it affects your mind, and if I had to guess I might suggest the help of these to help clear the mind (and so maybe help your communication. (having had to address some myself, like A…

Wow, brother. Just from the length of your question and post, I might guess that there is quite a bit of shame behind this. So I'm thankful you've brought it here, out into the light. I'd love to hear more about why you're asking, if you have the time?

Great post, but one nitpick—throughout most of Christendom science has been understood as meaningless without Theology and philosophy first. Since philosophy seeks the meaning and interpretation of the sense world and it's relation to the idea/theological. While science is generally just a systematic observation of the senses: it makes no claims or inferences—any 'insight' or conclusion or hypothesis of the physical sciences is philosophical in nature, because it makes logical statements and cla…

OP, if you're reading this thread do NOT follow this advice. It is neither Christian nor basically decent—this is how the world thinks. Faithfulness to a spouse doesn't come from bodily beauty or attraction—and where this is the case for a couple, they're simply unthinking, animalistic, and paganly. You have an IMMORTAL soul, you're not just another animal that blindly follows desires of your senses. You were given a mind and emotions in order to contemplate, know, and enjoy God and godliness. I…

As someone who is currently planning to make this decision, I understand and feel for you... but I also disagree: you have not made a mistake brother. There's so much hope for your situation. Whereas if you had the opposite problem (only sexual attraction/beauty); I'd just be praying for you (and not writing this terribly worded novelette—you're welcome ;P ). Anyway, I hope the following can give you some ideas (it's a smattering of ideas): Here is what I've found in my own and a couple other br…

While I don’t denigrate tracts and other short term evangelism, I appreciate your suggestion to long term, quality batch (so to speak), and communal evangelistic focus— especially at my life stage. I have younger people (and even some older folks) who look up to me, and I’ve helped them with things and try to serve them through example. But I don’t formally meet to discuss books of the Bible. Although, I have started to do so with some classics. I generally use a Socratic method of inquiry (not …

That’s just a rough time order I plan to accomplish those things in my 50 year plan: PhD in stats-> industry statician-> make family/babies/parent->Masters in classics->associate pastor/mentor young men-> teach uni Ie, One can list priorities by time sequence, logical sequence, by material representation, by level desire, etc... there any many ways to list goals besides importance. Piacere! I’m shocked by the fact that you’ve asked me questions— and insightful ones, no less—so thank you. I’m not quite sure, but I think you’re onto something: I have high standards. Not to be too quick, but here’s what your question brought to mind: Now, It might be because I grew up with a single (narc) mother, who often degraded me—so I probably have something to prove. But I’m also reading Boethius’ Consolation at the moment and am reminded that Wisdom is the only thing that cannot be tak…

Bro, please get yourself a lawyer ASAP and help from the elders of your church. Reach out to friends and get a damn therapist. Then plan an escape as soon as possible, once legal precautions are taken. Document everything with video, audio and photograph if you can— but don’t do it in an obvious way that might give your escape away.

Yeah it’s just tongue-in-cheek Christianese that fits a kind pastoral authority. Minimally when one has influence over too many people and lots of unrealistic expectations. This usually happens from a min/max personality; e.g. super charismatic, insanely smart, or rhetorically moving...etc. it’s tongue in cheek because these ‘maxes’ almost always come with a ‘min’ that their congregations like to overlook.

It’s partly why I shared this. I’m not about to go sue her for defamation or something. But I do hope that if there are guys out there going through this too, I just want to encourage them to not be weak. I made the mistake of being graceful with her, but I should’ve just stood my ground, cut her off from my friends, and consider a restraining order (since she kept coming around). It’s a balancing act though— you don’t want to add fuel to the fire either way (by being reactionary or by playing i…
