I think it would be helpful for you both to have an open and non-judgmental conversation to ensure we're both meeting each other's emotional needs. Something like, "For me, I know that you love me but I would really benefit from more words of affirmation just so that I can be certain that we're on the same page. I'd also love to hear what you need from me in our relationship." A lot of these comments are encouraging you to just dive into what he's interested in and assume he'll value that. Howev…

I feel like you're blaming your ethnicity for your looks when you could just be ugly... There are plenty of very attractive black women with dark skin and they aren't versions of eurocentric black representation that we see in the media. It's unhealthy to push the narrative that black = ugly and you're not getting the response you want because of just that. If you want to know how to come across as more attractive then it also might be helpful for us to know what you look like??? Confidence is s…

I think viewing relationships and sexual interactions with partners as a "test" rather than two individuals figuring out if they compliment each other you can be a dangerous mindset. There is really nothing you've expressed that validates that you are being fair in your anxieties, which I totally understand as someone that struggles with anxiety. It's not always rational. I worry that when you see relationships through the lens of a test you think of yourself as someone that is passing or failin…

This is kind of an obvious fix to me, sorry if I come across as crass. You love him, you want to continue to be with him, you genuinely believe he has a problem. It's very obvious that continuing to bring alcohol around him is setting him up for failure. If you don't live together, just maybe drink when you're not with him. Maybe you also have a problem if you are not able to abstain from alcohol in his presence. Having the self-control to only have one drink is a skill, yes. But so is having th…

I think practice makes perfect! Eventually, it will come naturally. Remember that even in more traditional relationships, men still need reassurance just like us, and that's ok! I think trying will also display that you respect his wishes and want him to feel comfortable. I would imagine that even just slowly easing into it, and seeing how much joy it brings him will give you a desire to lean into it. You got this!

I think that the beauty in being a submissive woman is that you are only that to your husband. You can't trust that all men have your best interest at heart and all men aren't making decisions because of what they know about you and how much they love you. It doesn't matter what anyone else wants from you or how any other man feels. Frankly if you made the effort to listen to all men you'd be pulled in 100000 different directions 24/7. We submitted to our husbands because they are the only peopl…

I don't have any real advice but I want you to know that I struggle with emotional outbursts as well. Over the course of my 4 year relationship with my partner, things have gotten much better and a big thing that has help are clear conversations about my expectations for myself as a submissive woman in the relationships. Communicating how I want to embrace my feminine role has helped me to hold myself accountable. I will also say that it doesn't just "stop", but it will happen less and less the …

I mean why is any of this a problem if there are two consenting, happy, adults? Being inferior or superior is not someone that all women consider a priority for themselves?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
