As the asker of the date, it may be nice for you to say “let’s get together for drinks this week, when are you free for happy hour?” She’ll either ghost you if she’s not interested, make up an excuse or give you a time (assuming this is online dating FYI). Women are constantly dealing with creepy dudes who won’t leave them alone. Although maybe a guy who is speaking to them in the context you are describing here isn’t trying to make a move, they are so used to guys constantly trying to get in their pants it’s an immediate defense mechanism.
