1	Women say they are still oppressed in the West. Yet a handful of European countries have lower retirement ages for women. Yes, of their own doing. That being suicide. It’s common knowledge that men commit suicide more. But according to you, suicide doesn’t really count as death, now does it? Just because men don’t die naturally, doesn’t mean they’re not dying. I’m not saying that the patriarchy doesn’t exist, nor am I saying that the movie was bad simply because of its controversial views towards men. Hell, I didn’t even watch the movie, hence why I’m arguing about the portrayal of the patriarchy in groups like these and society as a whole, and not about the movie. Patriarchy is a form of government in which men hold more power than women in both legal/governmental situations and in families and homes in general. Think of it like an oligarchy, where the rich hold the power, except replace it with men.
