100% fell into this. I ignored all the green flags and only focused on the one thing that made me feel uncomfortable. Perfection doesn’t exist. So many threads about throwing away an otherwise “perfect” partner over something like them sleeping with X people. It’s tough to beat but with therapy and talking to a lot of women, it can help to gain a lot of perspective.

Lol no idea what you’re talking about or who’s the single mom I’m dating. I’ve never said I was with any of them that cheated either lol.

This is probably some of the best advice I’ve seen on any subreddit. It’s true though. My partner has a higher body count than me and it’s intimidating. That’s all on me. However, other girls I’ve been with who have had a low count or virgins have cheated. It’s hard to change your mindset but you absolutely can. Look at the person for who they are now and their history. Perfection doesn’t exist. You got this!

Can’t tell if being a dick or not lol. It’s just what helped me out so figured I’d share it.

I used to and still struggle feeling the same way. Feeling like it was a “values” issue. It’s not. I wasn’t a virgin and had a lot of wild sex so why would I was someone innocent in my 30s? Got with a girl who is amazing and when she was in college she was wild a bit. Outside of that, she has a stellar track record of being loving, faithful, devoted, and a great partner to those she’s in a relationship with. She learned a lot about herself and what she didn’t want and she was dealing with issues…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
