It def didn’t land well a dude saying im gonna get "cancelled" but i'd interacted with the same set of people in a hobby club for the past 4-5 weeks. I tried to smooth it over instead of just letting it pass, which probably came off as reactive by saying "just testing your boundaries". That said, the overall interaction was still fine.
