I'm sure those women exist, but there are also plenty of women on those men's level who they end up with. Those girls are the ones I see being the most vocal and proud

I am also curious, the women that say that in my area (large metro) are the polished blonde pilates girl type, at least somewhat attractive, and end up with the type of man they like

Btw, on some of your points unrelated to the questions: I agree, women don't owe men sex and men don't owe women resources. Nothing to do with femboys IMO. The thing is that the men marrying women "post hoe phase" are not the ones who feel bitter about not owing women anything. Those women will likely have no trouble getting what they want. Women are sexually privileged, but many of them don't want these privileges, especially feminists. That might be where the disconnect is coming from. The wom…

Easier to get attention/options, I don't think anyone would disagree. I don't believe there's much difference in the quality of partners the average man and woman can find. Yes, I know plenty of average women who groom and act flirty and have men tripping over them for that. The privilege is for the type of woman who utilizes sex appeal, not necessarily the most attractive. However, charismatic & charming average men have a lot more pull than they often get credit for, and they don't have to be …

I feel like most of the women who i see have those preferences are those who have pulled that man in the past
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 04:20 PM

Women absolutely do not have lower social expectations in general, it's specifically from men. As an autistic woman, I can get away with being myself more around men but befriending neurotypical women is almost impossible. In the same vein autistic men usually have it harder finding a partner, but I generally see them able to make friends easier
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 04:37 PM

This is just ableist and misunderstands autistic people. Autistic people learning to mask isn't a magical solution to our problems and you severely overestimate how much anyone actually "caters" to us. And I will acknowledge that in romantic situations, men showing autistic traits is even worse than women doing it. It's not a matter of throwing a tantrum, even the slightest behavior can lead to disgust.

Systemic is where I disagree, it certainly causes individual women to hate men but I'm not really seeing any systemic discrimination of men that didn't already exist. But, my point is that this is many MRA's main focus, complaining about what women are doing instead of uplifting men
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 02:41 AM

I can't disagree there. I will say the more attractive women aren't necessarily mentally healthier (surprising rate of BDD and EDs ime) but I absolutely agree that they are less promiscuous than the average/below girls and less likely to use hookups for validation
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 09:51 PM

Do you think it's a certain type of man who gets this freedom of options and that's what makes it rare? Irl, I know guys who I don't consider attractive getting constant female attention, and ones who I do (and are sociable) who struggle to get a partner
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 08:26 PM

There is truth to this, but men absolutely do it too. It's a matter of lacking self respect and letting someone "above" you walk all over you because you don't think you can do better. I have absolutely seen my low self esteem or more average looking friends do this, and not the more confident ones. But I've even seen people doing it for men I'd consider unattractive. It's not about wanting chad, it's about being desperate
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 08:18 PM

It's the same way that severely mentally ill, but crazy hot women never have a shortage of partners who often put up with their abuse for years, and aren't getting cheated on or dumped quite as much as I often hear it happen to normal women. Abusers have a way of taking advantage of permissive/desperate/kind people no matter what sex.

First off, the women who complain about men's poor behavior and the women who choose those men are sometimes the same, but not always. It's usually when a woman can't get a good (high status in X way) man who also treats her the way she wants to be treated. It's like the trope of a man being drawn to a toxic crazy girl who's hot and good in bed. Ofc women want the dude to both be attractive and have good character, but when forced to choose one, some will choose the first option. It's not that a…

What do you think is required for a man to be able to choose? In my circles, I don't see women being particularly picky, but maybe there has already been some selection at play. But I hear most men online express that they can't be picky
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 08:01 PM

If anything it's filtering out neurodivergent men, whether people realize it or not. When I was unattractive as a teenager, even as a woman I would be told to "be confident" or "work on my social skills". Guess whose autism is suddenly cute and charming once the outside changed?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 08:00 PM

I agree with you in theory. But the men who complain like that are upset on some level that they have to play those games in order to have a chance with a woman, because they have limited pull (take whatever they can get). Whether it's true or just perception. And some of them seem want a woman who is stereotypically hot but resent the way those women act/what they require. Bc the majority of girls are not gold diggers or "IG thots" but I see dudes project those women's traits onto the entire se…

Many people are saying this is what women already do, but I'm curious: what behaviors are you seeing IRL to the contrary?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 07:53 PM
3

No. People always overthink this. It's as simple as "what traits do I dislike most about guys in the dating pool/ that I've dated" that aren't something genetically unchangeable. Women aren't trying to lie or mislead anyone, at worst they are being overly polite (If a female friend was having dating trouble, you still wouldn't tell her it's bc she's ugly...)
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 07:52 PM
1

Depends. All of those guys have more "normal" views that draw some people in, along with outwardly hateful ones. Plenty of people, especially younger, are impressionable and might fall into it off of more reasonable takes. I would be friends with those people. But if they were old enough to know better & genuinely hated women instead of just having some questionable takes. Then no

Just focus on how you want men to be helped. A lot of MRAs just attack women and act like feminism is causing systemic misandry. If you actually focus on men's issues that's fine and most people will not have an issue with it. Like if you talk about circumcision, I'm against it myself and many feminists would agree

As a bi woman - it's easier as in lower effort to date men and even be friends with them. You can have lower expectations. But I find deeper connection easier with other women and usually value those friendships more. It's really not about drama or getting along.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 05:05 AM

Or maybe, given that upon having the choice to be independent many women do, they were never as attracted as you think. No birth control + marital rape not recognized/ it's your "duty" to have sex with your husband (and you were expected to have one)...ofc there were more kids being born

The difference is that red pill is an ideological group where most people share specific beliefs and "woman" is not.

I think it's more the type of career than the details. It's not about lacking respect but I am interested in men whose career feels impactful or important to society. If it isn't then I usually just feel we have mismatched values.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/26 05:41 AM

And yes I agree 90+ percent of men I am not personally attracted to lookswise, but most of them are not excluded and it's based on getting to know them
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 10:39 PM

Some are in b but those aren't repulsive, just unattractive as in being neutral/ having no draw. Many are in (a) but it's also a lot about having an off putting personality and way of carrying themselves. Those are more actively unattractive rather than just not attractive, if you get what i mean

This is an interesting idea, because many of the anecdotes I hear men use in these spaces are very different from my current circles. Because in my usual environment a woman being highly educated is the norm, but when dating online I had many men seem put off or intimidated by it, or at least find it notable

Casual spaces when I'm not working or busy with headphones in
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 01:29 AM

Most women are satisfied with their options in the way you describe, it's men who are complaining. Like women are not mad they can't pull a hot guy, they're more often mad that so many dudes don't have their shit together or play games

Pregnancy as an advantage? Don't make me laugh. Why do you think women overwhelmingly prefer to focus on their careers once given the option to be independent?

It's not really objective. I don't think it's purely insecurity either. Being attracted to younger women (not excessively like some) makes sense in terms of attractiveness and health of offspring. Wanting a certain personality type is not at all objective though. If you take submissive to mean non combative, that is a reasonable ask, but wanting an obedient or meek wife isn't always for good reasons - some men have weak egos and can't take a woman being more capable than him or ever disagreeing.…

Men's standards aren't as low as people act, but they are more often something within your control. Being put together, not fat, and nice to him occasionally. I see it irl where women who are quite boring and not particularly attractive (no offense) get a lot of attention from men by doing the above. On the flipside many men do get intimidated/put off in some way by women who are smarter, more talented, or more successful than them due to insecurity and not standards. When I'm smarter than a man…

Some women are like that, but many times he is truly neglecting things he said he would do. I'm not a neat freak so I don't have those problems, but I've had a bf game for long stretches when we were supposed to do something, said he would do xyz chore at a specific time, or whatever. We worked it out because it wasn't malicious but I see friends whose man wants to use her as a maid, it seems

I would have to disagree, but I'm in an environment where women who do hookups are a minority
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 07:33 PM

Generally, men want to be with women more than the other way around. Why would they not want to do the best they can get?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 07:32 PM

But it's very natural for the male to do the pursuing and the female to do the choosing of the best suitor. Men have some things easier and some things harder than women, it's just how it is
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 07:27 PM

Being considered unattractive hurts your self esteem, but being treated as nothing but a hole warps your identity. You feel less human
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 07:26 PM
7

Then men should go for women who don't have casual sex. Not saying they won't care about looks, but they won't be putting you in that 'would date but not sleep with' bin.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 07:23 PM
5

Maybe some experienced women do. I was a virgin when I got with my fiance so I was happy that he was in that <5 range.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 07:20 PM

At the same time, the women who don't want this path are not taken seriously and men often see them as a less good choice. For most people, there is no honor in being a leech who is valued purely for their beauty and body. With age, those women lose their privilege when looks fade and may have an identity crisis, whereas a man can have his achievements and family legacy. However, women who want the latter path are told we will die alone and are undesirable.

If men want to do this, I agree with her that it needs to be done earlier than that. It's unfair to say you're incompatible because of partner count after already adding to hers. But the phrasing is reasonable.

It's not really a BP specific thing. I consider myself feminist but not BP, but I'm strongly anti- sex work and porn for the reasons you mentioned. There are different schools of thought among those who consider themselves feminist
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 08:02 AM

It's not about being a jerk. Assholes are often more dominant, confident, with a masculine personality which is much more attractive than a soft/weak guy. A guy who has the above traits but is kind is even better but rare

I absolutely care. If you mean baggage as in problems resulting from past relationships that will affect me/cause me to be compared to exes/etc, that is

It's a red flag if he legitimately got no attention from women and never approached successfully. Regardless of whether he can befriend women or not. If he was turning women down to pursue xyz goals, it's quite attractive when men aren't desperate

I hate degenerate porn as much as anyone but I don't believe it's related to politics that much. Liberal and conservative men are about equally likely to be sexist ime
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 07:52 AM

Liberals don't tend to care about their legacy and passing anything down as much. Personally I lean left but I don't hate conservatives and the thought of a more conservative future doesn't disturb me, only an extremist one would.

These traits make someone "dateable" but the will part is debatable. You can be a cool and likeable person, doesn't mean people will want to date you
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 07:34 AM
1

I think "confident" assumes that the guy is normal and is just stuck in his head or has low self-esteem. You have to be confident in a way that's charming and socially valued, not truly be yourself
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 07:33 AM

This is accurate. I will say they aren't usually trying to gaslight but may be in denial. Before I got in any relationship, I went on dates with a lot of guys I wasn't attracted to and picked based on what was essentially friendship compatibility. I genuinely thought that was just how it was supposed to be. When I met my fiance, I was insanely into him in a way that I hadn't experienced before and I feel it's kept the relationship strong over time. I think a lot of women never experience that, o…

Anything that positions them as being better than other women to look good to men. Being a trad wife isn't pick me but being one and shitting on "modern women" would be
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 07:25 AM
5

Agree with the beginning, but for your end points. I think it's generally some kind of cognitive dissonance rather than a deliberate choice. And I disagree with what you say about feminists, although to be fair the whole movement of "Feminism means you think women aren't less than men" completely diluted the term and made many deeply patriarchal woman adopt it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 07:22 AM
1

Almost, but there are other indicators for intense attraction. I would never sleep with a man I wasn't committed to, so for similar people it doesn't work. But if she is willing to hookup just not with YOU, yeah it's a bust
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 07:19 AM

As a woman I really don't think this is the issue. It's a genuine involuntary disgust response, some people are just picky regardless of their own perceived value
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/26 07:17 AM
1

I agree with the other comment that you can't demand surrender or force it. Also, an abuser will abuse someone no matter how perfectly obedient they are, but some people just have lesser 'toxic' responses that may be lessened with a more cooperative partner. And there is a difference between wanting to be deferred to for the sake of being a strong leader, and just wanting control over another for one's ego. There are unfortunately many men in the second category that become abusive and blame the…

If you're being genuinely avoidant it's good to fix that. But if you're naturally a more detached person who needs space as well, I feel like a lot of men are like that and you should be able to find someone compatible
/r/RedPillWomen07/03/26 10:03 PM

you're not a feminist much less hard-core or you wouldn't be doing that. just be honest it sounds performative
/r/RedPillWomen14/02/26 11:02 AM

You don't have to purposely sabotage your own career, instead find a man on your own level. Many high achieving men have no issue with similar women, it's your demeanor or family views that matter
/r/RedPillWomen21/01/26 02:09 AM

I see this attitude from men, but what confuses me is that women who aren't having sex still have desires yet use these services disproportionately less. And if those women are somehow helping someone with great frustration, I don't see why the attitude isn't thankfulness for them doing the dirty work instead of hate and dehumanization.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 12:24 PM

I guarantee those men who are jealous of sex workers just for making money wouldn't last in the job, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 12:21 PM

Exactly, there is empathy or neutrality towards the male sex worker and awareness that he may not be enjoying himself. Whereas the woman, the one that the viewer is getting off to, is the one dehumanized...
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 12:19 PM

I am using exploitative beyond trafficking here and rather as something inherent, and sex work is historically something impoverished women get into when they find few choices to make a living. Even with the OF format, there are the "influencers" who didn't need to get into it (these are the only ones I'd blame), and then there are droves of broke women trying to make pennies degrading themselves, which just makes me sad for them not disgusted. I think it's extremely disingenuous to say that sex…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 12:16 PM

I don't think sex work should exist, but I would shame the buyer rather than the seller... because I view it as exploitative even if there is an "agreement". Perhaps those women understand deep down that there is something wrong with it while not wanting to seem sw critical or unsupportive of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 06:30 AM

I'm the same and got lucky to find one that I actually liked. The best I can say is thinking about where you would find this man and what he would want and trying to put yourself in that situation
