Methotrexate should not be banned, and those needing the medication should not be denied it. Especially since it is controlled and women are fully aware of the risks of the do get pregnant. 3	The toxic views of r/pro choice You do not understand methotrexate and thalidomide then. Methotrexate is a really good drug for many conditions, especially rheumatological ones. Yes, women must be more careful but It is about risk vs benefit. Methotrexate has a high success rate vs risk. It would also works by stopping cells dividing so is a treatment for ectopic pregnancies and would more like cause a miscarriage than birth defects. 2	Getting a DNA test in NY I do understand that, but the chance that it isn’t is between 1-4%. It does devalue women by saying they aren’t all trustworthy. I did see someone saying that 30% of tests come back as the guy not being the dad, but that is 30% of all tests being done, and usually tests are only done because men suspect something. As I said, I do understand where you’re coming from but I think it’s a tricky area. Without trust in a relationship, it really puts the relationship into question, in my opinion.
