The best advice I have is to focus on the core issues and move on. It’s all about division of net family property (NFP), spousal support, and if you have children, child support. Support payments are indexed to your income. All calculations follows a basic legal framework which is different in each jurisdiction. Everything else is bait to keep you fighting and keep the lawyer on the clock. $250k bills get racked up real quick if your spouse is particularly vindictive. So you need to take the hig…

I don’t think you understand. I never stopped trying to provide for my family. I kept going and am still going despite unspeakable odds and circumstances. Most men would be crushed to death by what I went through. I don’t want anyone in my circumstances to experience the same. What’s the worst is the children suffer the most. The very people the system was erected to protect.

Go to the gym. Work on yourself. Read. Don’t get hammered. Become the man that no woman will ever want to deny. Practice meditation and mindfulness. Use sauna and cold plunge to manage anxiety.

You need to get to the gym. Work on yourself. Read. Better yourself. Be the man no woman ever wants to leave. Honor and respect yourself. And don’t drink. Feed the pain you feel lots of work-outs. Practice meditation and mindfulness. When you end the wars within you all wars around you stop.

Make sure you take care of yourself and your job/career. No one cares about men. And they care even less about a man who can’t pay. So work on yourself. Stop drinking. Go to the gym. It helps with both mental and physical health. And you need both. Get 50:50 access if you have kids. Practice meditation and mindfulness. The world will turn.

You should definitely separate. Ensure you have 50:50 access to your children. Deny any of her emergency requests. And let her live on her own for a while. Faced with the reality of a situation it becomes the greatest teacher. Don’t lose respect for yourself. Go to the gym. Don’t drink. Work on yourself. And your life will change for the better.

Sit with your feelings on this. Observe your thoughts about getting back together. Who do they serve? Are you connected to the reality of your situation or just the fantasy and dreams of the life you thought you once had? Typically in these situations people get attached to the fantasy and continue to jeopardize their mental health in exchange for some short term pleasure. Cut her off and don’t look back. You will respect yourself more in the future end.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
