7	The childfree sub The thing is back under “the patriarchy” men did hold each other accountable. Adultery was punished. Tarred and feathered. By who? Men. You weren’t taking proper care of your wife in proportion to your ability/income? You get some time in the stocks in the town square. Public humiliation.
