Yeah no offense but that's incredibly wishful thinking, there is almost no way half the people who will face justice for committing rape will be women. In too many places it isn't even legally possible to convict a woman of the crime of rape. I know multiple guys who were raped by women, some of them minors when it happened. All of their rapists still walk freely in our society, and probably look and act just like any other person you would see on the street

My theory is that the violence (sexual violence in this case) by gender in a population follows the variability hypothesis (where males are more represented on both ends of the bell curve, and females are more represented near the mid, roughly). I think this could be both cognitive and physical, as in being accepting of sexual violence in a person's head (or even approving it) as well as how physically inclined somebody is to sexual violence. I don't know who commits "more" violence, because that's pretty impossible to quantify, but my theory is that the violence by gender in a population follows the variability hypothesis (where males are more represented on both sides of the bell curve, and females are more represented near the average, roughly). In other words, men are typically more likely to be completely non-violent or severely violent, whereas women are typically more likely to be moderately violent.
