I agree some of the comments are horrible, she committed perjury (not sure what the UK equivalent is) and pretty much ruined this guys life, I'm sure his name and picture were all over the news as a suspected rapist, but we shouldn't punish her because it will stop real victims from coming forward? I don't understand this logic because she was only prosecuted once she admitted to lying.

Maybe try allowing his family to take her? If they think you won't allow him to see her, maybe because he is not entirely truthful with his family, then extend the olive branch to them. If you have a means of communicating with them let them know that they are allow to see your daughter as well. This might help alleviate some of the anger and tension directed at you. And that way the family will know who's responsible for him not seeing his daughter.

So much this, communication is important in any relationship! I rarely if ever have problems with my boyfriend and if something comes up, we talk it out and understand it and figure out how we want to move forward. It's that simple. There must be a reason a partner does not want to give oral. It could be hygiene, it could be out of selfishness, but you'll never know if you don't ask.

Thank you for your response, and this is exactly why I was so pissed off! I see/ read/ hear so many stories of men being abused by women and being afraid to report it and have no where to turn. We need to speak up and change the social attitudes about this, and let people know that yes, men can be abused and women can be abusers.

Yeah I am disgusted at the person who answered the phone at the helpline. How could she listen to him on the phone and then say I can not help you? I would have tried to forward the call or transfer him, that way he would not have to redial and just wait. Or listen to his story and help him. How much different is it helping men than women? There's one police force last time I checked.

While I agree some of the tips are over the top or extremely paranoid, there is some good advice in there somewhere. While I wouldn't outright deny the teacher to have extra one-on-one time I'd see if there's a way it could be a group activity. It really depends on the person, how well you know them, and if there's a reason they want to tutor your child.

This, if they try to pull and sketchy behavior to have you fired or let go, it's best to have documentation of what happened so you could either sue or be assured to get unemployment benefits.

I think this is equally if not more disgusting than the whole Penn State thing, unfortunately I think the Penn State scandal was more publicized due to popularity. This ^ Movies like Magic Mike and books like 50 Shades of Grey being popular and talked about in public as though there's nothing wrong with it, yet when someone finds out a guy looks at porn, oh no he's a creeper who objectifies women. I'm a girl I look at porn and I don't care if guys look at porn I have no problem with it and there's nothing wrong with it...
