Have to start somewhere. A 16 year old is not a child. It's ludicrous that people have to tiptoe around the idea of sex from the ages of 16-18.

I definitely agree with you. Situations of power/authority abuse should still be treated as a sex crime.

She looks creepy because before even looking at the picture we're informed she's a subhuman child rapist.

A 12 year old girl can understand the ramifications of sexual intercourse, but I don't think that makes her ready for that. If she fully understands the ramifications and has already gone through puberty, she should be free to make her own decisions once she turns 16, not 18.

That's why I vote pro-life. Not because I am against abortion, but because the USA has zero paternal/abortion rights. If a man has no say, it shouldn't be an option on the table for women either. I'm not saying that men should have influence on the abortion procedure itself, but if he wants an abortion and the potential mother does not, there should be some system put in place to protect unwilling fathers from financial responsibility. "Sorry mom, he doesn't want the kid, if you have it, it's on…

Since a minor cannot consent Not legally. There is no magical number where someone is instantly a consenting adult. It's completely arbitrary.

I definitely could have worded my comment a lot better. I'm not referring to true women's rights activists, but internet-born "feminists".
/r/MensRights15/11/15 09:28 AM

I would never be friends with a self-proclaimed feminist who got their information from online, let alone date one. I actually enjoy the idea that I have a future.

He only needed to make a distance of 15 feet so the piggy couldn't reach him with his obesity assistant.

The Amazing Atheist is a very confusing person to get a handle around for me. I don't know what it is really. He just has this weird vibe of being a huge arrogant prick, but it melts away when he opens his mouth. I find myself agreeing with a lot of things he says.

The video comments looks extremely supportive to me. There's also a lot of interesting talk about how the UN has no interest in feminism, but that this is just a smokescreen to grab more power for internet censorship and so called "cybersecurity".

Honestly, that's actually pretty damn cool. Becoming an Aerospace Engineer is an accomplishment of itself. Then she decided "You know what? I really like fucking so I might as well get paid for it."

I'm afraid for the dad. I'd kill myself in his position if I didn't get my daughter after all that.

I had an algebra II teacher who hated both fat people and male students. Guess which two groups I fell into? All the other fatsos and I banded together and got her suspended with parental complaints.

That was an automatic fail in my gym class unless they made up the swim day at a later time. Missing 3 swim days and not making them up was a loss of PE credit.

This website should be banned reddit-wide if this is the kind of propaganda swill they think makes an acceptable article. http://www.lifesitenews.com/opinion/the-day-my-kid-found-hardcore-porn-on-his-iphone

Well, the quartiles are by income. So someone in the 3rd quartile may or may not easily afford college. That's definitely true. My family is in the 5th quintile, but I have three siblings. There being six of us, we aren't really technically in the 5th quintile when it comes to real world execution. We really can only afford to put through two of us to college. I did terribly in high school out of my own laziness and stupidity. I won't be one of the two. Being in the 5th quintile, we aren't reall…

Thanks for the reply. I really enjoy data like this, and the subject matter itself is extremely relevant to me. This isn't something that I was truly aware of. I had always thought that the younger men and women going into the military were people who couldn't afford to get into college without the military, sort of like my circumstances.

it was about military enlistment rates vs economic status This kind of data interests me. Care to link me to it?

I(also)ANAL and have never been married, so I don't know much about prenups. In terms of children, can't they protect the father in terms of custody if the marriage ended because of something unforgivable the mother did, like cheating?

You know, at least for people in my country (USA), the only time marriage is ever a really worthwhile and useful thing is if you're a citizen here trying to gain citizenship in the country your foreign partner lives in.

fle4market, please listen. As long as marriage is a legally recognized contract, never, I mean never, consider getting married without a prenup. Edit: You should also try to tell her how it not only protects you from her, but it also protects her from you. If you're willing to arrange a prenup, that obviously means you're a keeper for her. I don't see why so many women are against penups.

Guys, listen. In complete truthful honesty, it doesn't matter how much you mutually love and trust one another. When you decide to get married, you enter a prenuptial agreement..

People look at me like I am some sort of creep when I play with my niece at the local park. It's not you, it's everyone else.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
