It’s Australia. They won’t.

A surprising amount of critical thinking going on in that thread. It's good to see, even if it's just a few more people opening their eyes to the truth. The folks dropping statistics in there are doing all men a service.

This has to be bait, right?

I’d have to disagree, this is an important subject to cover, just because some people think it’s uncomfortable doesn’t change the facts. If it wasn’t controversial, it wouldn’t be an important topic. Probably. I think that’s how it goes…

Every time I see this get posted it’s always conflicting. It’s good that she’s starting to really get what guys have to go through just existing, but there’s still so much casual feminism that I still can’t trust her word. And then there’s the “White Imperialism” idiocy, which honestly is enough to cast doubt over the entirety of her previous arguments.

I personally am trying to enter the field of public health which in Canada Found the problem, you live in Canada. In all seriousness I wish I had a better answer for you here, but I’d definitely consider moving south of the border, maybe trying to get into a trade. I don’t think the gender hiring ratio will change much no matter where you go, unfortunately.

r/politicalcompassmemes is on the block now too. The InActions got the axe last month, I expect pcm will be gone by the end of the year.

On the one hand, I can avoid most of the horror stories I've seen on here and in other places, as well as the situation my mother's fiancé is dealing with now (custody battles sure are fun) and I can spend what money I have how I want to, without having to worry about someone else. But on the other, it's so lonely. For all the benefits to staying single, it really doesn't feel that great. I haven't been in a relationship for almost five years now, not counting a weeklong dumpster fire in early 2…

I’d just drop it tbh, this dude’s unhinged as fuck and the increasing hate and anger in his comments defending a convicted criminal is pretty unsettling

They couldn't even bother to cement their "fundamental right" by passing laws for it in the half-century RvW was in effect; instead they just coasted along on a shaky precedent based on an extrapolation of an extrapolation of the 14th Amendment. What on earth makes you think they'd even be able to unify themselves enough to help with men's issues?
/r/MensRights24/06/22 09:46 PM

No, I don’t have to do anything. If they wanted universal abortion law so bad they should have passed legislation for it instead of relying on a shaky precedent for half a century. Speaking as a pro-choice person, I fail to see how this is a problem at all, let alone a men’s one. Nothing will prevent out-of-state abortions, if someone lives in a state that won’t legalize them. Any attempt by a state government to do so would be actively illegal. Again, if this was such a fundamental right then i…

This is how we’ve always done it where I work, if you gotta go you gotta go. Just don’t stick around and there’s not a problem. I still avoid it whenever possible though because it’s an HR complaint in the making.

That’s pretty surprising honestly, usually when I report things involving racism or sexism I just get told it’s not a violation of Reddit’s content policy. Because of course, it’s not racism if it’s against white people, and it’s not sexism if it’s against men.

I wasn’t a fan of Shoe for a while there but she’s had some pretty good takes lately. Hopefully it’ll convince more people to take problems seriously instead of just brushing them off.

Not a bad bait post, honestly. Bonus points for starting with gender theory and women's issues from the get go to annoy people, but you didn't quite follow through properly. I'd give it a solid 7/10. Maybe an 8 judging by the activity in the comments.

I have been mutilated. It’s not an insult, it’s an objective fact. If FGM is considered mutilation (which it is and should be considered as such) then circumcision is MGM, and should also be considered as such. The fact that it is not is frankly disgusting.

Bruh nobody is denying the existence of trans or intersex people, idk where you’re getting this kind of idea from, but the victim complex isn’t doing you any favors

50 years of intense study by experts all over the planet and the most ya'll can figure out is a skin tube vaguely shaped like a penis and an open wound prone to infections and requiring daily attention to keep from healing. Yeah, I'm gonna have to go with the biology on this one, bud.

And they’re supposed to be one of the more reasonable feminist subs as well. Goes to show what Reddit has become, really. Anything against the narrative is either silenced or decried as falsehood, regardless of the evidence.

I don’t know what’s more disgusting, the first comment or the second. Aborting just based on gender is awful for sure, but I’d rather be aborted than have a psycho mother try and force me to be trans

I could care less about it. It's annoying, but mostly because it's just another excuse for Reddit to fill my feed with virtue signalling. This year it'll be Ukraine-flavored.

Not really, considering the “trans” part of it.

Who said anything about a cause? They're literally fighting to defend their homes and their livelihoods. Dislike it all you want but there's nothing wrong with drafting able-bodied people in this instance. The wrong part is that it's only men being drafted, leaving out able-bodied women.
/r/MensRights25/02/22 10:07 PM

On one hand I do think they have something of a duty to defend their country and their homes, but on the other hand the fact that it only affects men is pretty bullshit.

You mean most shelters. And of course men’s shelters are picketed and protested until they’re forced to close, because its misogynistic for men to need help sometimes too /s

This might be a bit of an controversial opinion, but I’m no fan of the current body positivity movement. The vast majority of it seems to be catering towards the overweight and obese, which is not something to encourage. Speaking as an overweight man with a family history of heart problems, obesity, and diabetes, the USA is ridiculously unhealthy as it is, and the current wave of “body positivity” and anti-fat shaming is only enabling that further. I saw you mention vitiligo and other skin condi…

All I had to see was TwoX. Didn’t even bother to read the rest of their post, that sub is an absolute cesspool.

Going on TwoX was your first mistake. That place is a cesspit, second only to FDS in terms of its misandry.

You’re wasting time with this one. Basic reading comprehension clearly isn’t possible for them.
