Women talk, and dick size is definitely one of the things that gets discussed. I went through the texts of an ex and found that she had told several people that I had a cock like a can of coke… I’m still not sure how I feel about that but the point is that it gets discussed.

I dunno, Stormy basically said she couldn’t tell if a certain client was in before he made a weird noise and fell asleep. I’m thinking money is the key metric.

“Achievements”, as if maintaining your body counts for nothing, but making money is some huge thing.

For sure. I’ve just never heard of it referred to as FYP. I’m assuming that’s a TikTok or Instagram thing that people just started using to refer to algorithm-driven recommendations in general.

I 100% agree with this, and it too often gets overlooked. You can replace the word "patriarchy" with "oligarchs / ruling class / aristrocrats" and suddenly everyone gets it.

Not speaking for OP here, but as a pan guy I've read many threads on this, and the cited reasons are normally insecurity (they think that a guy who can be attracted to men and women will sleep around) or they're worried about getting STDs. Homophobia can't be discounted, but I don't know how much that really plays into it compared to the first two reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/26 10:31 PM

Preferences are fine, but if you would date someone up until you find out that they're attracted to both men and women, then you are bi-phobic. The two things are not mutually exclusive.

I'm not sure where you're seeing that this originated in GoT... anywhere. The origins are supposedly satirical in nature, but any satire to the same effect about women would result in an instant ban so I won't elaborate. https://www.inc.com/suzanne-lucas/huffpost-editor-says-new-years-resolution-is-to-kill-all-men.html It's an example, so I won't belabor the point any more. The fact is, examples like this, the SCUM manifesto, etc, exist. They ARE part of the feminist legacy, like it or not, and …

I'm now attempting to write this for probably the 30th time, because I really want to say what I mean here: When a member of a group says something publicly, and it does not get condemned by the group, it is typically accepted that the group is, at a minimum, complicit in the behavior of their compatriot. With that in mind, there are many out-of-pocket things thrown around within feminist spaces that don't get called out. If you're going to insist that I point to a single thing that feminists as…

Because in online discourse, it's extremely common for bad behavior in women to be blamed on "the patriarchy", which is seen as women not taking personal responsibility for anything. Simultaneously, men feel like they're catching flak for the bad behavior of a small percentage of guys, most of which we've never met or interacted with. Anytime these things are brought up, feminists dogpile us with downvotes and snarky comments about incels, etc. Hopefully that's clear and concise enough to get th…

Feminism started as an equality movement - The concept of "the patriarchy" was introduced in the 2nd wave, which shifted the focus from simply making men and women equals to eliminating gender roles. Liberal feminists still believe in letting women choose to live how they want (either traditionally or otherwise).

Weird, it appears on my screen that you said something, and I was talking to you. Funny that you feel the need to direct me to talk to someone else, almost like a child being told to go talk to their father. I'm not a child, and you are accountable for the things you say, so I was simply asking you. For the record, the actual, bona fide woman-hating incels are cringy as all hell, but the idea that women have a hard time securing dates is simply absurd.

I generally disagree with the OP's argument, but I do take issue with your assertion that judging people based upon their innate abilities is wrong. It's the exact line of reasoning that people typically use when discussing domestic violence (women commit more acts of DV, but men tend to inflict more damage, thus leading to more fatalities). Honestly, I don't care one way or the other, but I do believe we should decide on one of these two things and run with it, because right now as a society we…

There are guys that lust after land whales, so I don't believe for a second that even being morbidly obese is a huge issue in dating for women. That leaves, what, exactly? Literally posting anything but your own picture in your bio?

It was my understanding that red pill was about dating, social hierarchies and “player” tips. None of those things have anything to do with male victims of sexual assault. Again, I don’t represent the RP side of things, it just so happens that my views sometimes align with theirs (as an example, I do genuinely believe it’s easier for women to get dates) I haven’t spent much time in RP spaces because frankly a lot of the guys there are cringey and seem to hate women despite professing their desir…

Reddit doesn’t seem to allow men’s only spaces anymore in general, so it’s a bit of a moot point. I won’t belabor a conversation that’s probably been brought up here ad museum, but the difference between /r/askmen and /r/askwomen, as well as all of the men/women subs, is that in the men’s subs, women are allowed to participate equally. They aren’t restricted to responding to top-level comments, etc.

Eh… my sister is currently in this position and she’s repeatedly lamented that for her, it’s borderline impossible to find someone that’s compatible (ok with her having a kid but not wanting any more) and also himself not having kids. I recognize that this is adding to the problem but I can’t imagine that it’s too uncommon.

I had a similar experience. It’s quite frustrating that it’s impossible to find a subreddit that’s actually for and by men that isn’t also a cesspool.

I have to say, as someone with a similar background as far as being sexually abused by a woman when I was a child, Reddit was mostly very respectful and supportive when I told my story. I don’t think it’s fair to say that women don’t care about male survivors, so much as that many women will reflexively assume that any attempt to share your story in what is perceived as a women’s space is potentially false and just a way to redirect attention from women into a man (which is very wrong).

That’s largely because it’s something that predominantly affects bisexual men. Feminist spaces online are notoriously against discussing issues that “center men”, even if it’s directly applicable to the supposed views of their community.

I feel that women will (on average) always be the more-pursued sex. That said, there's no shortage of competition amongst women for men who are taken and perceived to be in demand.

It's the ultra-wealthy. I see economic class as a far bigger determinant to how people will treat any manner of "rights" than sex or any other. Literally every single thing that modern feminism pins on "the patriarchy" is factually the responsibility of the top 1/10 of 1% of income holders on Earth, and historically it's always been a similar story. In the US, the Equal Rights Amendment would do a tremendous amount of good - Yet it always gets blocked by a minority of monied interests for one re…

It's honestly amazing to me that this is catching downvotes. Don't you get it? There's a "type" of woman that attracts a "type" of man. "Daddy issues" for "Bad boys" eventually results in an abusive relationship. It's the women that find themselves in that situation over... and over... and over... again that I'm referring to here. I've heard women complaining about these women, so I know this isn't some random hot take.

It’s not sexy. Most women do not want a man that simply keeps up the household as a partner; that isn’t to say that they don’t want help around the house, but it’ll never carry the same sex appeal as, say, stepping in when some random guy creeps on her in a social setting and making her safe. I do most of the work in my household, not because of any particular relationship dynamic so much as because I’m the one that cares more about the house being clean. I get zero respect nor recognition for t…

I mean, sure, I guess? I don’t think I have ever once discussed my partners’ bedroom performance with anyone but them, but if I did I would certainly feel like it’s fair game; I know that they’re giving out all the nitty gritty details to their friends.

I’m tall with traditionally “handsome” features, and I have never filtered a woman by height. I do have a preference, that she be taller so I don’t have to bend as far to kiss or hug her, but that’s it. I’m currently in a serious relationship with someone that has spent the last five months with spotty, if any, employment. They will be graduating with a masters degree in their field in the next year or two so I’m willing to make the sacrifice up front to hopefully have a loving and stable two-in…

Yes, words do matter. Women having an easier time in securing dates means that women have agency in how difficult their relationships are. Women that consistently find themselves with shitbags are seeking them out, subconsciously or otherwise.

Whoo boy, that is a lot of words to say nothing substantial at all. OP, you’ve predicated a plethora of statements in this post on other broad, sweeping statements, yet none of them are backed by anything. Do you have any source or reason for believing the tent post ideas underlying the rest of your post, or have you simply made some sort of best guess analysis based off of your personal observations?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 02:12 PM

I guess I’m going to give a concrete example here, because frankly this bothers me so much; a common trope I am seeing in social media from women or woman-focused media is, “Men X”. “If that offends you, you are obviously X.” This doesn’t hold water; it’s like saying boats sink - some do, of course, but the average boat is in fact still afloat, and taking issue with a bogus statement doesn’t make me a sunken shipwreck any more than a rapist, or a wife beater, or whatever bs accusation gets tosse…

Men don’t (contrary to what many women seem to believe) want a sex toy. They want someone to talk to, and someone that cares about them. If they get that from these robots, who are we to say no? I’m in a LTR, I have no skin in this game. I’m just not seeing a problem with people checking out of dating entirely when so many others have already done so.

Wasn’t there a post on here yesterday about AI robot girlfriends with women complaining that men would no longer be “putting in the effort” to make real human connections?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 01:20 PM
1

Maybe, but I don’t think that’s the whole story. Women regularly say things with their whole chest that aren’t logical / don’t hold water, and these things catch on and become talking points. It isn’t to say that men never do the same thing, but if another guy hears it then the guy making the claim will likely get called out, whereas the woman making the claim will likely be given a pass or even supported by other women.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 01:09 PM
1

We absolutely do have emotions. The big difference is that we’re taught that we need to make logical decisions in spite of them, and that’s part of personal responsibility. I believe a large part of the rift on this issue stems from the fact that what men perceive as basic accountability, women see as burying one’s emotions in an unhealthy way.

This hurt my brain to read. You do realize that the modern computer is an invention of a woman, right? Well, more specifically, modern programming. “ No single person invented the modern computer, as its development involved many contributors over a long period. However, several women were central to pioneering foundational computing concepts and programming itself. Key women who contributed to modern computing include: Ada Lovelace (1815–1852) Often considered the world's first computer program…

You literally just edited your response to add the “aggregate” bit, and for reference I am specifically replying to this bit, “ I think many regular men secretly would enjoy, even if briefly, a harem of women who obeyed him. Or secretly think sexually harassing women isn’t thatbig a big deal” You are explicitly stating that you believe the average Joe would sexually harass women if he could get away with it. I fundamentally disagree with this premise. Where is the straw man?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 03:42 PM

I’m, again, not disputing your feelings on the matter, but I believe that the average, big standard man, is more likely to punch a cat caller than be one.

A woman’s worth isn’t really something I would ever quantify, but if I were going to, kids that aren’t mine would certainly bring down the, “I want to be with this woman” rating.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 03:19 PM

Hmm, I tend to disagree strongly with your assessment of men as a whole, but that’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 03:12 PM

I think you’re conflating two different phenomena here; the part where a movement gets co-opted by more radical elements and the part where some bandwagoners elect to allow the radicals on board because they’re aligned on some fringe issue can be found in another sex-based movement. You won’t argue that “regular women” secretly agree with the “kill all men, all sex is rape” radfems, despite the fact that these types regularly appear in feminist spaces and don’t get banned, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 02:42 PM

It’s funny you say that, because every time a guy tries to start an online community for men, it gets brigaded and derided as misogynistic for excluding women. It’s not that men don’t want to support each other, it’s that in the largest communities on earth, they’re literally not allowed to.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/25 02:38 PM

I feel like this is largely due to the fact that RP spaces have garnered so much attention in these last few years. Some high-profile terroristic attacks and really vitriolic manifestos made for great outrage news stories and obviously have helped to fuel clickbait engagement on social media ad nauseum. Really though, there is no place left in society for single young men; there used to be boys clubs for youth to go and engage with each other, play sports and just socialize. These were safe spac…

I don’t know about other platforms, but at least on Reddit, the biggest male-oriented subs are run by women, have women moderating, and welcome women to participate in and answer questions… so they’re not really “safe spaces” for men at all.
