The term toxic masculinity is rarely, if ever, defined. When it is, it's vague at best, and kafkaesque at worst. When you see how it is frequently employed, it becomes clear that this is not an accident, it's a feature. The term is an ideological bludgeon, or ideological self-flagellation whip.
