I’ve had the opposite happen. Growing up I was always sure I wanted a family and be a dad but nowadays I increasingly feel like it would be better not to.

Anyone else just have no preference in terms of hair color? I'm always a little baffled by people who strongly prefer a specific hair color. I couldn't care less. I don't even care about the hair style or length or whatever unless it's some truly atrocious "fuck my hair up" cut.

A person once told me they always loved hearing my takes. I really appreciated that. This one's less specific but I love the lovey vibe when me and my best friend are both drunk. "I love you man, you're a real bro! You helped me through some shit dude!".

Bathroom mirror I look okay. Nothing special but I like it. Real "there are many like it but this one is mine" energy basically. Other reflective surfaces I look terrible though. Hate catching a glimpse of myself. I never take selfies and avoid having my picture taken but in the few I do have I look pretty bad. And I have no videos of myself. Overall I'd rate myself below-average.

Male. I feel like I always knew. Looks mattered to me and I never assumed it worked any differently for women.

I think those kinds of messages are kinda cringe. There's a real trend of people posting them on reddit expecting some kind of pat on the back for being courteous or considerate when I'm just like... y'all don't even know one another. Just unmatch or ghost. Especially if you haven't even been on a single date yet.

Meh was too harsh. She’s attractive, almost all famous actrices are, but not really my type.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/22 05:47 PM

Meh. I always thought Courtney Cox was by far the most attractive person on Friends.

Do they? Seems to me the most common response to "I'm going my own way" is "ok, bye".

No. That kind of transactional sex just seems incredibly sad. Besides, I’m not that into blowjobs anyway.

No, I wouldn't. I'm sure I'd be just as introverted and averse to being the center of attention if I were a woman. Besides, most don't make a ton of money, it has a very serious impact on your life and reputation, and it can be pretty dangerous.

It indicates that women are still considered objects to be acquired by men. It’s a sign of how ingrained misogyny is in our current patriarchal society. Men decrying gynocracy/gynocentrism has got to be one of the most obvious cases of oppressors feeling victimized by resistance/calls for equality and justice around.

I don't understand why a simple preference for moving quickly wrt physical intimacy has to be couched in this moralistic language of red flags. It is okay to want to sleep quickly with people. It is okay to end dates you're not feeling or where you're not getting what you want. Just like it's okay to want to move slowly when it comes to sex. These kinds of preferences don't have to be justified or explained.

I never have and never will understand why anyone would ever care about someone else's "body count". Who gives a fuck.

Ideal partner: Someone who's family-oriented, open minded, empathetic, self-aware, politically engaged, responsible. Ideal self: A teacher back in my father's country who has published some writings, including a novel or two, and is active in local leftwing politics. Oh, and I'd be ripped obvs.

The way he presents his views makes you wanna be proud to be a man, and feel like masculinity is something to embrace Jesus fucking Christ, y'all didn't have dads/uncles/brothers/shit like that growing up or something? Why would you need some internet dude for that.

I agree with that. If you want to fuck every day and your partner wants to fuck once a week, why should it matter to them if you fucked someone else six days out of the week as long as they still got their one fuck. To be honest, I don't really understand why it would ever matter if your partner slept with other people as long as you're satisfied (sexually and in other ways) with your relationship.

Isn't being around crying people just always uncomfortable, regardless of the genders involved. The only way crying is ever not uncomfortable is when it's a communal thing where everybody's crying together, like at a funeral or some shit like that. Every other time crying is incredibly uncomfortable. It is uncomfortable to be around someone who's crying and it is uncomfortable to be the one who's crying.

Learning to be your own authentic self in a way that's conducive to getting along with other people (i.e. having a "good" personality) is just the start. Obviously, you'll still need to find people who also think you're physically attractive. You'll meet a lot more people who simply like you than people who like you and find you attractive.

I'm sure if you try often enough you're bound to eventually get a date out of it. Doesn't seem like a very efficient strategy though.

In straight relationships women carry the brunt of emotional labor. If a straight relationship is bad, the woman has probably had to deal with that fact for some time so she's basically had a headstart in moving on.

Not that surprising seeing how much more isolated and alone people all over the developed world have become. That's the primary reason for the rise in sexlessness for both genders IMO.

Nothing. I'm supremely low value. Bottom tier. Trying to be less low value but I doubt I'll ever fix myself enough to feel comfortable having a relationship. Not like I'm all that young anymore anyway, so there's little chance of me changing enough and in time to start a family

I don't think I'd care but I also wouldn't really care if it was with a dude, unless either happened right in front of me. I don't usually care about shit that happens behind my back. Out of sight, out of mind. As long as my needs are met I'm good. And the whole "dildo or no dildo, bigger or smaller" is just nonsense to me.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
