Karen hate? I can just as ridiculously say "stop white knighting". Focus. Nothing in that 65 second clip shows hes creating a mud pit. Go spray some dirt for 2 minutes, then come back in 10, it will be dry again.

2 people were complaining. I count 3 others that were not. Why should I assume the minority group is correct here? Additionally, this guy apparently gets paid to do it, so there was discussion and a decision made at some point previously, and that decision was "water the park".

If it's been dry, you do this to reduce dust. They do this on baseball fields too I don't get the problem.

White: vanilla ice, eminem just as huge music examples. Often called "wiggers" to be insulting Asian: gran torino as an example represented in film. Check out "chigger" on urban dictionary. Plenty common in diverse, urban areas

It's human nature that, at times, we all focus on one side while not trying to fully understand the other because we feel "right". Your willingness to look back at it, however, is very uncommon and a very good trait in a person. Your original desire seemed to be one sympathy towards the cousins. That's not a bad thing, neither of us know all the details and you could potentially be correct. I just felt he made a strong statement with that line about projects. It resonated with me.

If you've never lived in a big city with apartment-stack projects, you probably don't understand what was left unwritten. "It's ghetto projects took a hold". That tells me a lot. Have you seen the Wire? You know how those boys like hanging out in the lowrisers? Some of those kids fell prey to "projects taking a hold", and never wanted to get out. That's what it sounds like the cousins did. I grew up with people like that, and it is horrifyingly embarrassing to be associated with people like that…

I do understand that. People in those situations aren't typically given a 6 month window to leave. I feel like if he wanted to leave, it was very easy. He didn't want to leave. Can't help people who don't want to be helped. And, in fact, the judge cited his support as a reason for the suspended sentence. So, not only did he not leave, he took steps to ensure she was released as early as possible. I'm not trying to beat up in the guy...she does that plenty...I'm just trying to point out she spent…

She spent 6 months in jail awaiting trial. This spineless guy supported her in the court room. Save your outrage for people who deserve it. This guy not only had a chance to leave, she was sent away for 6 months and he then made considerable effort to support her in court. She is a despicable human, but he obviously made his choice.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
