People view attention to mental health issues as a zero sum game where attention to one side amounts to ignoring another This isn't true, but it is how many people feel That, and people often feel that men speaking out about their issues is a direct attack on women's issues, or blaming women for men's issues This is also generally not true, but it is how many people feel You could say things are a bit fucked up right now !

Interesting, what does my post history have to do with the conversation we are having now? Not a very strong "gotcha" if you ask me. I think it lends a lot of credibility to what I'm saying. Kinda the opposite of what you're implying. You see, whether or not I'm married is also none of your concern. You aren't obligated to any information about my partner(s), being a stranger on the internet. And should you really be out giving modern dating advice to someone under 20? You practically grew up in…

I think there's a lot of information you can get about a person from just observing them. The way they talk, dress, carry themselves, interact with others, what they order/eat, etc. Maybe it's just me, but I can tell a lot about a person's personality even before I make a cold approach. Of course, you can't know everything, and it's no good to judge a book by its cover, but you'd never know unless you make contact.

Well, since I don't know you, I am not obliged to answer that. Why, how old are you?

Nobody said you have to approach someone randomly. The point is to be as selective as you need to be to achieve the outcome that is true to your happiness and agency as a woman.

I think a woman can decide for herself what her choice of a man is. Otherwise, that's like saying women cannot tell the differences between men they might like and a man who is not a good match for them. If you don't want just any random man, don't ask out some random man. Be selective about who you approach. But fearing rejections so deeply is tantamount to fearing one's own happiness and agency. Also, fear of rejection is just one of many reasons a man (or a woman) might not want to approach. …

Most single men I know are so lonely they would give their left big toe to be approached by a woman. I've heard many men in long conversations about dating go on about how much better things would be if women made the first move so they didn't have to worry so much and so often about violating boundaries. I think everyone runs the risk of rejection, whether we try and fail to attract a partner, or get directly told that they aren't interested. What's the difference? At the end of the day, you do…

I don't really want to debate a mod cause I know how this usually goes on reddit.... But I don't see every suggestion-based comment directly backing their statements with ideological basis. This person cited they were concerned with online dating, and a cold approach, while often difficult, is a way to make a real connection with someone you align with Refusing the idea of a cold approach might not be as anti-RPWT as it sounds, if it involves a woman achieving what she wants out of life with her …

People talk about "men's support systems" as a dismissive tactic. Most everyone knows "male" support systems are pretty much just AA and the manosphere Anyone making that argument isn't genuinely engaging with the problem. How can the patriarchy control and manipulate so many men and simultaneously make it possible for us to grow and learn to change communally? It's a self defeating argument. Anyone who says "men need better support groups" doesn't want to engage in the conversation of men's pro…

The criminal charges for false accusations should be as severe as those faced by rapists. ESPECIALLY when the act is proven to be malicious.

Many women conflate social capabilities to intelligence and charisma This means that men who do not socialize are outside of a normal type of partner consideration
