According to wikipedia "Patriarchy is a social system in which positions of authority are primarily held by men.", as an exemple the french national assembly is patriarchy because it is mostly constituted of men, it is also oligarchic because it does not represent the median or average french person with a much lower density of lower and middle class people There's no belief in that

We are in an oligarchy of course but also in a patriarchy, it doesn't mean that men are in power it means people in power will be men and will build a world that consider the default as being a man If you think patriarchy means blaming men for everything you have misunderstood a lot of anthropology

Patriarchy does exist, it's one of the most accepted thing in sociology you can look it up in many scientific databases but I don't think you'll find a lot of recent paper discussing it being real, like you wouldn't find a physics paper discussing the earth being spherical What you can find en masse is papers measuring the impact on patriarchy on many things here is an example Of course patriarchy hurts everyone under it men and women alike

Quick etymology point, misogyny comes from woman in greek (more or less γυνει [gunei]) and the "mis" that means against, so misogyny against man doesn't make much sens, it's called mysandry from the greek ανδρος [andros] which means man. They're is a chance that those medics just don't know how to deal with panic attack and all went to tend to the flesh wound to not face their incompetence tho I would doupt it. Also you may not have looked like injured so they may have assume that you were doing fine. Lastly and this is kind or unrelated but do you see a psychiatrist or a psychologist it looks like you are going through a lot and those people can help you get better
