They've managed to brainwash the populace into believing that literally... without even hiding it... treating boys and girls differently... is "equality". If this were in the US, it would go against the 14th Amendment.

I hate when people say that like it's fact. Psychology is very complex subject and Marxist academia is all too comfortable with immediately jumping to the conclusion that men are inherently evil. Much like racial crime statistics, gender-based crime statistics can be explained nonbiologically, such as with differences in strength, different life circumstances (like men being more likely to be financially independent), and socialization (which Marxists ironically claim a lot, except against men).…

So many "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situations with men. Marxist "I'm always right" academia can eat a dick. Men supporting feminism are called "nice guys". That's another one.

Going to therapy is an act of "self-control" ☝️🤓, which is guilt culture brainwashing, like you constantly need to flagellate yourself so you're not a danger to society.

Acting "educated" is the ultimate thought-terminating cliché... like you're trying to figure out what's going on and not picking sides... even though you very obviously are. Fuck education. That's it. I'm saying it. I'm anti-intellectualist. The vast, vast, vast majority of male suicides aren't shit like that, so why even try to make a correlation? If that's not the point, why even bring it up at all? I thought "intellectualists" were all about practicality over all else. Textbook misandry.

Sexual harassment, yes. Rape, no. I'm so sick and fucking tired (not targeting you specifically) of people thinking rape (or anything bad) is something anyone can do if they don't have "self-control" ☝🤓 or because they weren't "educated" ☝🤓 on consent. Never in my life did I have even a semblance of a desire for sexual harassment or rape. They are horrible actions done only by low-IQ dregs and powerful douchebags.

You're not getting it. To him, at this point in the story, Nikki is still Nikki, just altered in one way. Therefore, he doesn't see the pain he's inflicting on her. Yes, he fucked up. Yes, he's a villain. However, no, this movie isn't about "incels".
/r/EverydayMisandry10/07/26 06:43 AM

Making someone want to have sex with you isn't "rape" per se, though you could say consent was violated in another way.

As far as he knows in the story at this point, Nikki's soul isn't "trapped" away from her body.

"It's clear the film wants you to think Bear made a huge, consequential mistake trying to change someone, but..." This is what I said.
/r/EverydayMisandry10/07/26 05:18 AM
1

The director said nothing about any kind of feminist subtext. Y'all are overthinking the fuck out of it. Hell, it doesn't even make sense as a metaphor for consent, since why would Nikki's "object" side want to do a bunch of crazy shit making Bear uncomfortable? It's clear the film wants you to think Bear made a huge, consequential mistake trying to change someone, but it's nowhere remotely close to some subtle misandrist message about "nice guys". They think people should have "learning experiences ☝️🤓" whenever authority challenges their views, but the feeling of guilt is what authority wants. They may beat you down to try and make you submit, but if you successfully see through their bullshit, it will only make you even more grounded in your intuitive perspectives. They call it arrogance, but I call it self-confidence. Hell, by their own logic, them insisting that their perspectives are the right ones is arrogant.

If anything, the tradcons will see you as bad if you want a world where men AREN'T hated by women, since it's "how it's supposed to be". We need equality. Plain and simple. No need to divide us.

The only reason people believe this generalization is "muh SOYENCE!" This is barely even aggressive behavior. Just... being a dick, basically. You can't prove men are the "aggressive" sex. I don't see anything that says women aren't allowed to do things that men are allowed to do, but I agree this is very stupid. Even as a kid, I noticed this stereotype. Men and women may be biologically different mentally, but the differences are so negligible that I don't even notice them. Even Jordan Peterson said the differences aren't noticeable in most of the population. I don't even think they were super different before the 1970s, since over a third of serial killers in the 1800s were women and the rest of the discrepancy could be merely due to socialization. Besides, even if men and women are super different, why should we make people (or strongly encou…

They look to psychology, which is a VERY complicated subject, to determine how men and women should each be treated. Usually, they'll say men are "violent" and "aggressive", while women are "nurturing" and "emotionally mature". It's disturbing and has no basis in science whatsoever.

"ready or likely to attack or confront; characterized by or resulting from aggression." The key word is "likely to". Being angry and attacking people over stupid things isn't a good thing. Everyone has a limit and the limits of men aren't lower or higher than those of women.

It mostly has to do with picking mates, sexual attraction, ext. We shouldn't divide and alienate each other. There's a LOT of grey area.
/r/MensRights26/02/24 10:14 PM

Hormone imbalance as a whole causes aggression, mood swings, ext. Feminists and tradcons love this "big bad testosterone" argument. Feminists use it to excuse their misandry and portray us as evil villains, while tradcons think being aggressive is good for some reason. Perhaps they get off on their women fearing them and their immense anger.

Physical aggression being more prevalent in males merely has to do with men being the stronger sex. You also have to account for different levels of physical aggression. I've seen many instances of two females pulling each other's hair, slapping each other without looking, ext... I think even more times than I've seen males fighting each other. Again, not saying women are the aggressive sex either; it's probably a cultural thing. In school, for example, there might be more boys doing the "meet m…
/r/MensRights26/02/24 05:03 PM
2

Again, what does "aggressive" mean in this case? If it's "general aggression", it's unable to be measured without some kind of subjectivity, thus making this a childish stereotype at best. I've been yelled at more by my female teachers than by my male teachers. I'm not saying women are the "aggressive" sex, but I'm saying there's more nuance than just "testosterone make men big bad".
/r/MensRights26/02/24 04:20 PM
2

The only method of measuring it is with self-reported behavior. What would "aggressive" mean otherwise? It can be said that estrogen causes aggression as well, since it also "causes behaviors that can lead to aggression". It's pretty much just a stereotype against men. It has no scientific basis whatsoever. People also stereotype women as "emotionally unstable", which can include aggression.

/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 02:16 PM

Feminine and juvenile traits are not mutually exclusive. Anything small is feminine and anything large is masculine. Tall men? Masculine. Tall women? Masculine. Big asses? Masculine. Big breasts? Masculine. So yes, all men are p-dos, which is okay; that's how God made men. /s (I really want to stress this.)
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 02:08 PM

Imagine being so "masculine" that you think guns are for pussies.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/23 01:35 PM

Both feminism and the 1950s family brainwashed women into being attracted to money instead of sex... and it's destroying the nuclear family. The "price" for having sex should be... having sex. That goes for both genders. There shouldn't be prices for anything in the relationship. You two... love each other... right?

It's not "natural" for women to be attracted to wealth. Wealth is an entirely man-made thing... and even if you mean "resources", it's a product of gender expectations, it's destroying the nuclear family and the dating world, and it needs to stop. This is a cultural problem; not a biological one.

How gender expectations/roles are harmful to both men and women... and how they've destroyed the nuclear family and the dating world.

I'm convinced that homosexual couples are happier than heterosexual couples (as a whole) because they don't have to worry about gender expectations/roles.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 03:26 PM

If that self-fulfilling prophecy were somehow nonexistent, gender expectations/roles would have pretty much died half a century ago. Instead, they're actually becoming MORE prevalent.

Probably bullshit like... Men are the stronger sex, so they should do the harder work Men are pissed off, aggressive, grouchy, and bitter all the time because of their testosterone, so they should be allowed to handle customers Working with knives and heavy objects is too dangerous for women's infinitely weak and fragile bodies.

Completely disagreed. Traditional roles literally created sexism... and they were barely popular (by comparison) until the Industrial Revolution when work hours were so oppressive that it was pretty much impossible for a dual-career household to work. Making the stronger one do more work than the weaker one isn't equality; it's equity. These roles are also discriminatory because they work under the notion that all men are strong and all women are weak.

"Toxic masculinity" isn't masculinity. If anything, making fun of other men for being feminine or weak is what SJWs call "fragile masculinity". What he just described was the Mary Sue: a (usually) female character who has no flaws at all, with writers of the show intentionally making all the (usually) male characters dumber and weaker by comparison. Strong female characters, in my eyes, are actually anti-woke; they show that women, despite being the weaker sex, CAN be strong and aren't snowflake victims to the "big scary men". Some think all strong female characters are part of wokeness, but it's not a new thing.

Yeah, there's way more to misandry than just false accusations. It's a big problem, but a lot of big problems pertaining to how men are treated in society are prevalent... and that one problem is cluttering up the sub and making us look like that's our only talking point.

I can believe that women see men who make a lot less than them as "pathetic" or "unmanly" because the culture of women is that fucked nowadays, but dual-career couples are actually less likely to divorce than "traditional" couples (source). Because all weak men are "low on testosterone"... okay... There's this thing you have to do if you want to be strong... it's called working out. If you don't do that, you'll be weak; if you work out enough, you'll be stronger than most people, regardless of what gender you are. A trained 6'4" female can beat an untrained 6'4" male. Hell, if she works out enough, a 5'7" female can beat an untrained 6'4" male. We don't live in a black-and-white world where all men are strong and all women are weak…

The best year in US financial history is 2000. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dot-com_bubble The housing market may have been best in the 1950s... that's it. Single mothers and fathers are still able to raise children, so it's not hard to live off one income. People just choose to have both parents working because it would be depressing if only half the population was able to follow their dreams. Also, why don't women also feel good about providing? It's definitely not biology because, in prehist…

You said society is worse off economically because of women being in the workforce. Idk how, but a traditionally gender-roled society is definitely misandrist because men have to be "sole providers" and hardly ever see their children. Because of this, men often turn to alcohol to cope with all that stress. In the 1950s, domestic violence was more common male-to-female than female-to male (and it still is if you believe feminists)... and modern feminists will blame it on testosterone, even though…

Women are also capable of being physically strong, and the powers at be know this, so they tell women they're "victims" to men and that men should "hold back their masculinity" to protect women.
/r/MensRights04/03/23 04:54 PM
1

It literally doesn't matter who tends to be better at what. Men and women should be treated equally regardless. A trained woman could easily beat up an untrained man. Women as a whole aren't victims because of their sex; men as a whole aren't aggressors/protectors because of their sex. We don't live in a black-and-white world, nor should we. If you think that as a man, you should have certain traits, that's fine, but you shouldn't force that belief on society as a whole. Some women want to be st…

Aside from police investigations, what purpose does adding "male" or "female" to the headlines have? They're implying that a person being male or female is important in a conflict, which it's not. One is not "more of a victim" in a situation just because she's female.
/r/MensRights01/03/23 11:45 PM
0

The point of the post is to show people that news headlines are intentionally misandrist. If it's not intentional, why are they putting useless "male" and "female" adjectives in the headlines? Putting "man" or "woman" in a headline is completely fine, but putting "male [worker]" or "female [worker]" in headlines of stories where there's violent crimes... seems very shoe-horned in, right?
/r/MensRights01/03/23 11:41 PM
1

The victim identifier. Saying "Florida person" would sound weird (overly "inclusive"), so "Florida man" or "Florida woman" is fine. But "beats female worker"!? Come on, they're obviously trying to be misandrist. The "female" adjective serves no purpose in the news story. It's equally as bad to beat up a man as it is to beat up a woman. They could have even just said "man beats woman".
/r/MensRights01/03/23 11:34 PM

That would be bad as well. I'm not a misogynist. Why does "male" have to be in there? It serves no purpose.
/r/MensRights01/03/23 11:28 PM

It should just be, for example... "Newark man beats family member, shoves Kearny officer, cops say." Putting "female" in there makes it seem forced and intentionally misandrist... and it is.

It boggles my mind that in a 1950s family, only the woman is considered a slave. Yes, it's frustrating that women are, by backward-thinking people, encouraged to give up on their life goals if they want kids... and that because mothers aren't financially independent in that kind of "relationship" (they don't seem like they love each other), some of the men of those women use it as an excuse to boss them around like slaves. Because 27C (80F) weather is just as bad as a fucking fractured skull. They even say it's a "warm" room. I swear to god I'm living in the twilight zone.

Modern feminism unfortunately stemmed from second-wave feminism. In the 1950s, gender roles were pushed by the media and by society at large. Men worked countless hours at often physically stressful jobs, while women stayed home and did arguably easier jobs for no pay (housewives). As a result, men were much more stressed out and angry than their wives, resulting in an increase in domestic violence and people believing that men are inherently aggressive. Men were angry that their wives couldn't …

Male monstrosity ("men are naturally aggressive") and female weakness ("women can't be strong") are myths perpetuated by war and gender roles of the past.

Contrary to popular belief, hunter-gatherers did not have gender roles; both men and women did both hunting and gathering, so we can't blame early humans. My theory... I think it started with war. The stronger of the two genders had to fight other men, while women stayed home and raised the children while they were away. This resulted in people thinking that women are weaker than they actually are. As a result, chivalrists continue to hold this belief and think it's their duty as a man to prot…

SJWs would say that's "toxic masculinity". People who tell others to "man up" aren't being particularly "masculine"; they're just being assholes. Hell, some people who do that are women who think they can't be strong or stoic because they have a vagina instead of a penis.

I legit saw an image of an advert/newspaper that said "1 in 4 homeless people are women". Like... what do you even say to that? 1 in 2 humans are women.

You being serious? If anything, it's the matriarchy making the men work and be constantly stressed tf out, while their wives are doing practically nothing. Being a housewife is an undeserved gift.

Yeah, it's crazy that single dads are nonexistent in the eyes of the lamestream media. I was raised by a single dad myself, though my grandparents live with him and they raised me too, but still.

It's great having a PPC! You're allowed to be forced into the military whenever the government wants you to! After all, if you don't die yourself, seeing your friends die makes you a "better man".

I'm not a crazy leftist who thinks women are just as physically strong as men, but women aren't hopelessly weak either. That belief has led to a lot of misandry in recent years.
