Where are you getting your information from? I’m genuinely curious. The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology recommends women 21+ have yearly exams; sexually active women and girls should start sooner. Granted I haven’t done a clinical rotation in on/gyn in about 10 years, but this is still pretty standard recommendation.

No no please go get screened. All women 18+ need pelvic exams yearly; pap smear frequency depends upon individual risk factors. Almost all of these sorts of cancers and/or STIs can be treated with long term favorable outcomes if caught early enough. Waiting until 25 to get Pap smears is insane.

Especially since women are much more likely to be raped by someone they know (partner/colleague/peer/family member) than by a bogeyman lurking in the bushes. But no men are ready to have that conversation.

Larry David is in his 70s and even he knows to ask a woman if she’s comfortable with his various advances before he makes a move. These people have no excuse.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
