To be fair though, the rape was heavily implied. Barbara is stripped of all clothing, and the photos taken of her were cropped at strange angles. No, it was never stated definitively either way, but she might have been raped. And from a story-telling perspective, I think she should have been raped, because it aids the story. The point of paralyzing Barbara was to give Jim Gordon (her father) a very bad day. Watching your daughter get shot and raped is worse than her just getting shot.

I'm sorry but I really don't like the idea of a "Meninist", just as much as I dislike the idea of a feminist. The reason feminism is bad, is because it focuses on women only. It is a group of people who think women get mistreated so much, that they need to represent women's rights more prominently to fix it. But as this subreddit knows, men get treated poorly too, in different ways, in different situations. Gays get mistreated in their own way, transgender people, bisexual people, etc. Everyone …
